Is 18 weeks too soon to fond out gender? I've been seeing a lot of post about people being told girl and later boy. Does it look like my baby potty can change to boy parts? Sorry I'm a FTM and worried because I've already told everyone I'm having a girl. Thank you

We are not trained professionals to let you know. I suggest not telling people that you are having a girl, until you talk with your doctor and know for sure...

Have you read the comments I have received so far? If you don't think that's rude then I guess I'm just too sensitive. I'm new and yes I'm still learning my way around this app. I'm not sure how I'm barging in on anyone with a simple question, but thank you I will certainly take your advice and look into everything you suggested.

Suggesting you ask your doctor is rude? Then I must be living in a different dimension. I find that to be a very honest and straight forward response.

To 2nd @mrskblack11‌, 18 weeks is to early to find out the GENDER of your future child. However, the 20 weeks and after mark is when most doctors/pregnancy books suggest to get your anatomy scan for the most accurate readings of the SEX of your child. A search of this topic on this board can help you identify the difference.

ETA: OP, 18 weeks is plenty early to find out the sex of your baby. That is all.

What did the ultrasound tech say...they did go to school for it. At 18 weeks the sex is pretty much definite.

OP I'm just wondering why you are telling people that you're having a girl? Is this what the ultrasound tech told you at your anatomy scan? If so, then why would you ask a bunch of "rude" people who are not ultrasound technicians what we think? Do you think your baby is going to magically grow a penis between now and when he/she is born?

Can you see why the rest of us would find a post like this to be completely ridiculous?

I'm now eyeing the Mars Pods. I pretty sure it's an Aussie thing because my LA family asks me to bring a suitcase full of them. They are seriously so freakin' good. The shell is crispy then you get the Mars caramel and chocolate on top.

They were on sale recently for $2 and I stocked up. They come in different flavours too. Snickers, Twix , Bounty. Mars is my favorite though becuase of the goeey caramel goodness.

As someone who doesn't usually post comments on threads like these because I don't even know where to start - I feel I just *have* to say how annoying it's getting reading these over and over. And over.

I mostly lurk but post here and there, and I feel like from week one, I've understood the culture, the snark, and what questions to ask an online forum. It's making me a little nuts to keep seeing all these posts though, so I can only imagine how the regular posters are feeling.

Just wanted to complain and commiserate I guess.
