Hey ladies just wanted to check in. Thought I was in early labor yesterday but apparently false alarm. Feeling kind of cruddy but hoping DH and i can go for a walk outside or to a mall just to get up and around. Spent most of today in bed. :-(
DH walked in the door from work, changed clothes and took DD to the park! HELLO quiet time. He must be trying to score brownie points. Either that or I look a lot more disheveled than I thought. LOL
I've been looking back at pictures of my son when he was a NB. It seems so long ago. I know a lot of people get sad to see their kids grow up so fast, but I love having a toddler. It makes me wonder what my daughter is going to be like as she gets older.

Trying to get stuck burps out are the worst. Sometimes laying baby down for a minute then picking them up again works. Otherwise, walking and patting/rubbing their back with them high over your shoulder.
Randoms: DD3 has gained over a pound in 2 weeks, yay! She is almost 9 lbs now.
DD2 (4 1/2) weighs 5 pounds more than DD1 (6 1/2) who is built like a toothpick :P
Had my 23 month old niece today. She kills me she is so excited for Baby Rocco, although I am fairly sure she thinks I named my belly Rocco. She loves his room, Rocco's cribby, Rocco's tubby, Rocco's walk-a-walk (his carriage). She goes at 100 mph! She cracks me up...she also killed me today. I am so uncomfortable, tons of pressure, just don't feel right. I had a PN Massage at 4:00 today. I told her to hit every pressure point she could, I want this kid out. Let's see if it works. Fingers crossed.
Rhys gained 7 oz since Monday sand is over his birth weight at 6 days old! I guess his constant nursing and my lack of sleep is paying off in certain areas! Also my neighbour/landlord for a farm we rent came by today and dropped off a gift for my boys (I attached a picture below) It completely made my day, cue the mom tears because it was so thoughtful and unexpected! I can't wait to get a picture worthy of going in it! Now if only I could get LO to sleep in his PNP or even without me holding him...and then perhaps I could get some sleep not sitting in a chair.
My midwife totally spaced our appointment today. I called her after 25 minutes of her no show and she said "I'm so sorry. I was sure you would have a baby in your arms right now so I wasn't even thinking about a prenatal appointment." She is coming over at 9:30 tonight instead. Maybe me feel a little better that I'm not completely crazy in thinking he is coming and then doesn't.

Car seat is installed, crib is completely switched back from a toddler bed, skype is installed on my little guy's tablet so his baby sister can at least skype him from the hospital. That much closer...
Tomorrow we have a weight check for DD. I'm so nervous! She lost a lot of weight and we were holding off on supplementing because I had a good supply last time. I really really hope she has gained even though I know supplementing isn't the end of the world.

Good luck, @BackseatDriver. DS is about 1.5 days old and has lost 7% of his birth weight. I am hoping my milk comes in more soon so it will start going up. Come on, milk!
Came to L&D per dr's orders about my swollen feet, and ended up getting admitted for contractions I didn't realize I was having. They almost let me leave but then I had a big one, so they checked me 30 minutes later and I had gone from 3cm to 5cm! We hadn't even brought the hospital bag with us because I seriously did not see this happening tonight. So much for sleeping in the new bed!
I had the most amazing experience today. My DH and I went to Babies R Us for a nursing pillow and breast pads and I realized that we are completely, if not OVER prepared for baby. I felt so amazingly blessed that our families were so generous with their help. I didn't have a SINGLE urge to buy everything in the store.
I've been contracting for a few hours now. Nothing major. I can still think and function. Hoping they'll keep up. Feels very similar to my labor with ds3 when it began.
