QOTD: There's been a lot of drama over the past few days, and I know many of are sad that our friends and awesome mods were banned. How's everyone doing? Do you still want to continue this check-in?

Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    As of right now I'm still stimming. I have 20 follicles total that are between 9-12.5 right now. So they're having me go in for another ultrasound and bloodwork on Saturday, since I've been right on track with all my numbers. And they predict my ER will be monday or tuesday.

    QOTD: The whole banning situation was bs, and although I'm not a veteran around here I was pretty upset. I really liked the IF and 3T boards, and the mods here, there was never any huge issues. As of right now I'm just jumping between here and PB waiting for the dust to settle. I guess at this point it's a wait and see who wants to move over and who doesn't.

    I don't think I updated since my appointment with the RI on Tuesday.  My doppler u/s showed blood flow in the normal range, which was good and my ovaries were nice and quiet.  The bad news was that my lining was only at 7mm and it needs to be over 8mm to transfer.  I also had my IVIG infusion while I was there, which went well and I had no side effects this time.  I had my consult with my NP and she said that she thought this cycle looked good.  She was happy with my blood flow.  She also wants to be aggressive with my immune treatments since my blood work wasn't ideal after 2 weeks on pred, so we are adding a second IVIG infusion on the 23rd. This time I will do a home infusion this time.

    I had my lining check with my RE this morning.  I wasn't expecting much since my lining was only 7mm on Tuesday, but it does look like my lining grew some since then.  Right now I am right at 8mm, so she is pushing me until Monday to give my lining more time to grow.  I am also adding in vaginal estrace (yay smurf cooch!) to hopefully help.

    Today is going to be a crazy day.  I need to call my insurance case worker to make sure things are moving along for my home infusion, I need to make sure that the pharmacy has my prescriptions (more viagra and the estrace) ready by 1:00pm so that I can leave work in time to make my therapy appointment by 2:00pm.

    QOTD: I will probably migrate over to PB, but will still check in on the bump occasionally.  I have loved these boards and I am sad to see them go down the tubes.

    @tweetyknicks Congrats on the possible BFP.  In my experience FRER is so much more sensitive than wondfo.  During my c/p I had really light squinters on wondfos and had a much darker line on a FRER.

    @twinkie0612 That sounds like a mess!

    *** mention-of-two-lines warning ***

    The one time I got a second line on wondfo my beta came back at something like 7 or 9 (eventual CP after a short stay in beta hell). Much lower than the test should detect. But that was the only time it gave me a line. FRER I've only used on failed cycles. I got tired if pissing away money (pun intended).

    I'm gone for a few days and I come back to who knows what? LOL. I'll have to read around and get caught up. Well I did my first round of shots on Tuesday, and I must say that I am soooooooooo thankful for the advice about icing the area beforehand. I literally barely felt ANYTHING. So I will continue to do that. I'm doing Gonal F and Menopur. What side effects am I supposed to be experiencing? I'm tired, but that's kind of normal for me. Otherwise I feel pretty regular.

    ME - 31, DX with dual hydrosalpinx (2012) , confirmed again in 2014, starting IVF 1st Cycle Dec 2014

    Bloodwork done 8/8/2014 LH - 2.8, FSH 6.1

    DH - 31, testing scheduled for 8/22/2014, 60-70% motility, no problems found

    @tweetyknicks: Sending positive thoughts your way!

    My transfer is still scheduled for Saturday.  I am trying to stay positive but am really struggling with the amount of bloating I am still experiencing.  I literally look five months PG (which is a cruel, cruel joke).  Is this normal three days after retreival? Any tips to make it go away? I've been drinking a ton of SmartWater and using colace, miralax, and any type of food I can think of to help with the constipation but nothing.  I'm begining to think this is worse than any of the shots!

    QOTD: I am pretty new to this site and don't really understand why/how the drama started.  I am hoping this thread will continue, however, as it has been a lifesaver going through my first IVF.  To be honest, I was thinking of leaving not becasue of the bannings, but becasue of the awful, hateful messages I saw posted on one of the person's profile by other members.  I really can't imagine anything that would warrant that type of harrassment.  I know none of that came from you ladies though so I plan to stay put!

    Me (30): Blocked fallopian tube, mild Hypothyroidism

    DH (31): Low motility and morphology<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

    @jro1602 ER aftermath was far worse than stimming for me. I felt constipated, bloated, and generally shitty for about a week post-ER. Sorry I can't offer any advice besides waiting it out. I didn't figure out anything. I tried the only laxative they allowed me to take and it gave me horrible stomach cramps but did not produce anything.

    Hello penguins!

    @tweetyknicks FX for you!!! :)

    AFM, I am chugging along on stims. Yesterday morning my e2 was 375 so he's keeping me on 300 of gonal F and I go back in tomorrow to see where we're at. But nurse said lining and #'s look good so far. As of now, ER scheduled for a week from yesterday.

    QOTD: I really have no clue what happened other than a whole bunch of people got banned. Why though, I have no idea. I know this stuff happens every now and then and it totally sucks. It happened when I was on TK and everyone got so pissed and jumped over to PB. I tried PB for a while but never could really get fully adapted to the new system. I will most likely bounce back and forth between the two.

    @shortstuff I hope you're feeling better, that's scary! But I'm happy for you that you've got a great number of eggs!
    @apitts2 I'm sorry you didn't have more fertilize, I feel your pain, but it does only take one and I've read so many success stories! FX for your two!!
    @jr1602 thanks for the prayers, I need them! :) And I also only got my numbers, I didn't find out anything about quality until my ET appt. It's better to ask them in person, so be patient and GL!
    @tweetyknicks FX for you that the line just keeps getting darker!
    AFM, I'm still tender and I'm trying not to overdo it. And I'm stressing a little since we'd talked about Assisted Hatching and I noticed on my fert report they did not do it with my one emby. I have a call into them, I'm just curious as to why they didn't? Maybe because it was good quality? Maybe they sort of "test" the outer shell when they perform the ICSI so they can gauge whether or not it's necessary?
    QOTD: What a shit show...it's hard for me to really comment on this because I've only been on TB for a few months and didn't know all the mods who got banned, nor do I really know what the hell happened. It is obvious there is some serious retaliation/spamming going on on the Parenting board, and I'm trying to stay positive right now so I'm staying put for now...and I hope the Penguins check in continues! I've enjoyed getting to know the ladies here.
    Edit: I'm excited to be PUPO! <:-P
    Me 42, DH 33, TTC for about a year naturally (but no protection for 4 yrs). Together 6 yrs, married June 2014.
    CD 3, FSH of 15, E2 67, AMH 0.43, LH 6.2, normal HSG test
    DH good count but low volume, 87% motility, 1% morphology

    Hi ladies. My egg donor is having another scan/labs today, so just waiting to hear how that goes.

    @Tweetyknicks - good luck!!!

    QOTD: I just signed up this morning over on PB. For now I want to post here and there. I have been on TB for so long now, and I hate change...lol. Hopefully things will get better. So, I guess we will see what happens.

    had our 2nd monitoring appt with the RE today.. Follicles are still growing! they said b/c of my super-low amh they weren't sure how i would respond, but he saw more than the u/s tech measured so i there could be 6 or 7 instead of the 4 that the nurse told us about. we are cautiously optimistic...

    @SweetieShellieH congrats! i can't wait for that day.. all of this not knowing when things are gonna happen is driving me crazy..

    @vballbaby and @tweetyknicks congrats!

    QOTD: I have no idea what all the drama is about.. i joined the day before it all happened.. i went home and told my DH that i joined a really supportive/helpful group, and then the next day all hell broke loose. crossing my fingers that the anger fizzles out soon i guess?

    @tweetyknicks - Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

    No update here. I don't go back in until a week from today. I'm still taking 2 pills of estrace a day along with prenatals, vitimin D and baby aspirin. I have my endometrin on stand by since I'll be needing that in a week or so. Current frozen egg transfer is scheduled for January 27th.

    QOTD: I'm sad to see so many people banned. I don't know the whole story but I am going to miss them. I'm still debating if I start looking into other boards or not or just follow the people on their personal blogs.

    Hi ladies,

    Congrats & good luck to al the PUPO ladies and ((((hugs)))) to anyone who needs it! And a special shoutout to @tweetyknicks!! A tentative big congrats to you! So exciting. FX for a great Beta!

    AFM: I am on day 5 of stims. Monitoring u/s first thing tomorrow morning to see what is up. I can't help but be a little nervous... I over-stimmed last time and ended up with mild-ish OHSS. It was all rather unpleasant and in a bid to not repeat the experience, they have significantly lowered my dose this time around. Now I can't help but worry that it will be too low and we won't have a very good response... I am starting to feel things going on "in there" so I guess that is a good sign. We'll see what things look like tomorrow.

    QOTD: This whole situation just sucks. I may not be the most vocal member of the group, but I have been around here for a year now and have come to really like the ladies here. Even though I do not always comment, I read pretty much every thread and have followed everyone's stories and rooted for you all from the sidelines. The ladies here have been here for me through some of the hardest times I have ever faced. To see some of the valuable members and mods treated the way they were and summarily dismissed and exiled from our midst was heartbreaking. For those voices to suddenly be just gone was jarring. That the Powers That Be did it with no regard for anyone on the boards (those banned or those whom they supported) was a disgusting violation of trust. I do not want to leave here, as there are many ladies still here and others who will come here seeking support -- but my trust in the site is pretty much gone, so the experience is tainted. I have moved to the new place, too, and will likely stradle the boards for a while - either until TB makes it right and everyone comes back here, or until enough ladies move over there that there isn't anyone left here.

    Hi everyone! Had an emotional day after this morning's appointment. After b/w and u/s I was told I only had one tiny follicle -- I've been stimming for 7 days!! My E2 number was low on Tuesday so everything was depending on what it came in at today. I finally got the call a few hours ago and my number went from 24 to 113. The increase in Gonal-F is working thank goodness! So I contine on 300iu until told otherwise and have more b/w on Saturday. I'm keeping everything crossed until I hear that we are on track for ER late next week. Is there a "normal" rate my E2 should be increasing each day now that I'm back on track?

    @tweetyknicks‌ so excited for you!!

    @SweetieShellieH‌ it must be such a relief to have the ET scheduled! Yay!

    @vballbaby‌ love your positivity and congratulations for being done with all the injections and craziness known as IVF

    QOTD: All this banning is crap. I really liked these boards & now they are turned upside down. I signed up over on PB & will probably hang out on both for a while. Having to XP all over the place though is annoying & I'm almost always mobile so it takes longer :(

    I'm  inbetween ER & ET.  I'll get a call tomorrow morning to let me know if we are doing a 3 day transfer (tomorrow) or 5 day (Sunday).  We don't get any updates on day 2 so I'm dying to know how my little embrys are doing.

    kristin1k I'm sorry, I hope you see more soon. I saw a bunch of new follicles on day 8 on my last cycle. Maybe you're just off to a slow start and will see more soon

    @K1111K‌ We are pretty much at the same point right now. I went in for b/w and u/s today. E2 was 1194 and my lining is 11.5. I have 13 follicles so far, 4 on the right and 9 on the left. Most are 8-12. I have 1 that's 14 and one that's 15. So I am still on 200 units of Follistim for today and tomorrow, as well as 5 units of Lupron. I'm going back Saturday again. I hope I can trigger soon. I'm so bloated and starting yesterday it has become uncomfortable. I could barely button my pants!

    Qotd: I also don't really understand what's going on, but I'm staying because I like reading everyone's experiences since we're all going through the same thing.

    Good luck, .Mrs.Matt.! XP from the other side: I had my Day 5 scan this morning... I have 12 measurable follies on the right and 8 on the left. They range from 11 to 5, but most are between 6.5 and 9. I don't remember where I was at at this point for IVF#1, but I want to say it was more follies than that... So hopefully we are on the right track to not over-stim this time, but still get a good number of eggs. I'm waiting to hear back on my blood results.

    Well, I'm officially PUPO!!! :) So excited! I was nervous that I wouldn't pass my check up and be able to do the transfer. But I seem to be healing nicely from the surgery and our little embies are doing wonderfully! We implanted 2, against the dr's advice. Based on my age, they would do 2, but based on my size, they only wanted to do 1. Both were grade 1! One was hatching and one was expanded. I feel so good right now... ok, well, still crampy, bruised, cut open, & bloated... but so good! :)

    Thanks everyone for the well wishes. It was a scary couple of days. Looking back on it, I realize it was way more serious than I realized. But they took such great care of me & DH has been wonderful. I'm bruised, swollen, and stitched up in 3 places, but healing well.

    @vballbaby - Congrats on being PUPO!! We get to suffer through the TWW together! :)

    @tweetyknicks - So exciting!! Sounds promising! FX for you!! :)

    @twinkie0612 - GL for Monday! It sounds promising!

    @swayatt2014 - I did gonal F & menopur as well. I never iced before hand and it really didn't hurt at all. I would sometimes get some stinging after, but only for a few minutes. I had no side effects from them what so ever. Not even bloat. I felt fantastic. I hope you have the same!

    @jro1602 - My bloat came about after ER too. Then it got even worse after the surgery the next day because they filled my belly with gas. I am SO bloated still. My ER was Mon, surgery Tues, ET was this morning. The bloat is SO uncomfortable. I was able to relieve my constipation with colace & lots of water, but by belly's still so swollen. :(

    @emnuffy - Holly cow! 25-30 follicles?! WOW!

    @sweetiesheelieh - congrats! :)

    @apitts2 - Praying for your little embies!

    QOTD: With my complications and surgery, I missed whatever happened during the week. I slept for the better part of 4 days and didn't even have wifi where I was hospitalized in the clinic. I think they do that on purpose. :P I don't fully understand what happened, but I would like our check ins to continue.
