The day of my 20 week appointment, my doctors office revealed to me that my insurance through my work was inactive, and has been inactive since October 21st. Somehow this information has slipped through their systems for the past five months or so. Thank goodness I have a different kind of insurance, but unfortunately my doctors office does NOT accept my new insurance. So now I am siting here trying to look for a NEW doctor that accepts my insurance.

Oh that sucks and totally happened to me! Except I had removed my hubby from my policy and the insurance company removed both of us. After a few irate calls that got it fixed.

Here's my bitch, the wireless company I work for has been going through some changes which is to be expected, now they're doing some SERIOUS downsizing and basically no one is safe. I've been proactive and looking for a new job in case shit hits the fan but this sucks!

Also, my boss is manstruating again and I don't have it in me to deal with!!

I've been out of work and on bed rest since the beginning of my pregnancy because I had abnormal bleeding and they thought I had a slight tear into my placenta. Well I was about to get a note to be able to go back to work, then BAM hey you don't have insurance and you haven't had insurance since you've been with us, we just forgot to mention it to you. So now I have a butt load of medical bills.

In training for work and guy in here never shuts the f up.....like ever, even in breaks just a chatterbox. And he interrupts the instructor constantly to tell a story that has nothing to do with what we're learning. He interrupted me today while I was answeing a questikn. He is talking now as I type about some stupid shit that i could care less about....think I'll have a talking feom hr if I tell him to shut the f up??? My hormones are already crazy as it is....also I can't handle reading threads about chinease gender charts and not feeling the baby move....I just can't deal.

My biggest gripe this week is about work. I can't remember if I've complained about how shitty things have gotten or not. I probably have, but oh well. Just skip past me if you've heard this all before.

Long story short, we lost our management a year ago and things have been going erratically down hill since. We've been flipped flopped around with different team leads and management. My favorite things is, though, what's been going on with my little three person team within the larger team.

I work in the closing department for a mortgage lender. I am not a closer, I am part of the wire team who requests and approves the outgoing wires for mortgages that are actively closing. And we are very often treated like some kind of outcast step children. Half the time people forget to include us. There was one day we were given the opportunity to wear jeans, no one told us. Underwriting shared this big potluck breakfast they had, no one told us. Part of the problem is the three of us sat in a different section of the floor. Then a few weeks ago they moved closing down a floor. And we sat way apart during that time. Tuesday they moved us down. My desk was apparently the dead equipment junkyard, and since no one bothered to clean it up in the weeks they had before they moved us, and no one was around to tell me where to put it, I have dumped it in front of my desk. Where people walk past and say they need to move it or tell me where, but no one can so far be bothered. I also don't have the necessary equipment for both of my monitors to be connected to my computer, so I only have one, which is a royal pain in the ass.

My supervisor keeps trying to get us to work on this project that would help the closers, but keeps forgetting to order the access. I also haven't been trained on any of it. This morning the main funder was going to be late, so my co-worker shot me an email since our supervisor hadn't acknowledged her message was going to be late. The other girl on our team shows up and the supervisor comes over to let her know that the first girl will be late, meanwhile, since the second girl doesn't work until nine, I've been covering the late girl's work. Thanks for my head's up.

I'm just sick of it. Definitely perusing my options for open postings in the company.

Ugh that's frustrating! When my DH got laid off in December, I immediately jumped back on my old insurance plan. They told me I'd have to pay for stuff out of pocket till the first bill came the first week of January. Apparently you can't pay via phone or online when you re-start an old policy...annoying. Well the letter never came so I called yesterday and they said they had no record of me reopening the policy. They're looking into it and calling me back. I'm SOOO annoyed! This means they may not cover my Jan 5 appt. Grrrr. Really hoping to get this resolved soon. Good luck finding a dr you like!

finchfeeder80 that suuuuucks (you could burn down the building) plus, when we bought our new house the lady that sent the money, I liked. The lady in charge of ordering the lady to send the money, I did not like. Mostly because she waited until the day we were supposed to get our money to buy our new house to tell us that she didn't like how the various offers / conditions were written (we had bridge financing). The result was that instead of getting our house on Friday, we didn't get it until Tuesday, losing a whole weekend + of moving time which we had been banking on in order to get all of our stuff over and organized with a toddler in the mix.

I don't really have a bitch today. Baby is moving TONS so I am going to keep my bitching to myself lol

@schnurette We bought our first house in May. We did not finance through my employer. I took off the day of closing and the two days after so we could move and we never even closed until the fourth day. They had at least 30 days notice of our closing date. The loan officer kept saying everything was fine, but his girls in processing kept hitting me with docs and crap last minute. And every few hours he kept telling me the loan was out of underwriting, but then they email and say the underwriter needed something else. I had to write a couple of emails and make a phone call to get them to stop emailing me at work and call my flipping cell phone because I wasn't in the office those three days. Apparently read an out of office response is too much. I spent two of those three days camped out on my laptop, signed into the webmail server because I was afraid I would miss a communication. Two days after our original close date we're going to the bank for statement copies and they're calling my supervisor like phycho ex-girlfriend trying to do my final verification of employment. It was insanity. But hey, we got our house!

My bitch is, I was told by one of our brokers to email all outstanding invoice for Policy X Y and Z to client A...So i did that...and she just came back to me and was like umm im not the person you need to be in contact with for Policy Y...really?? Im not mad at her she was really nice and offered to give me that persons contact information. But if you are a broker and are supposed to be managing these people why the F cant you get your stuff together and tell me the CORRECT person to send invoices to... I want stuff paid just as much as you do!! The less amount I have on my aging the better i am at doing my job!

Since we're doing work bitches today, I'd like to add that my boss and my boss's boss have changed my job responsibilities...again... which basically means nobody has any idea what the fuck I am supposed to be doing (including me).

Oh, and my boss's boss's boss has big plans for me to travel from Alabama to California and spend "about a month" with a corporate engineer that's at the site in LA. That would have been REALLY AWESOME to go to LA for a month on the company dime before I was pregnant, but now the thought of being away from home that long is just exhausting.

I went in for an appointment just now to get the results of my genetic markers test I did in December...which the receptionist on the phone said last week were in. I get to the doctors ready for the results and he said 'yeah, they're still being processed, it could still be another month or so'. It's already been almost a month and it's made me very anxious.
Like did the receptionist even look at what they were saying yes to on the phone? They're very disorganized there and it's really frustrating.

My bitch is that I'm 95% mobile these days. I went to reply to a post this afternoon, and the app wouldn't let post anything. No replies, no quotes, no starting new posts. I could look at everything, but not write anything. I very nearly freaked out and thought the ban-hammer had fallen on me. But seriously, I stay away from the drama, so I couldn't think of anything I might have said. So I rush to the computer, to confirm, and yes, I can post. whew. Obviously the app is having issues. Geez, I feel like this is the 50's, and we're all afraid of being accused of being communists!

My other bitch that I cannot change my dang siggy! I've been around (off and on) for a really long time, and know WTF I'm doing. The code in my siggy box is right, but I just can't get rid of that dang Jackfruit.

If you click there, and then click the signature option on the left under your profile picture, that should help. Having a rough week all around.

Had to fire someone for the first time in my life and my overly emotional preggo self had to hold back tears. You could definitely tell. So very professional. Sigh.

Because of said firing, I am covering that job too, cue more emotional issues at the stress of it all. Someone made a joke about asking where something was and I almost started crying. Ridiculous.

To top it all off, MIL is having another crazy bitch fit over us not allowing her to move in with us. She is 50 years old and fully capable of caring for herself. She just doesn't want to. Thinks everyone else should pay for her to live. Hating her right now for putting DH through this guilt trip.

Just started the up-every-2-hours-to-pee, miserable toddler day (normally he'll help with dressing him, today he was actively fighting against it, and that was one of the less frustrating parts of the day), broken dishwasher, broken dryer (with a load of diapers in it), fire ants have a nest that's at LEAST 6 in tall by 2 feet wide at the base of our house, the store stopped carrying lemon sorbet, and no where in town has O'Douls today. I've broken down in frustrated tears twice today.

As super helpful as my husband is, he has no idea how to bloody cook. He can grill as long as he's not using his phone...he burnt the shit out of some good steaks because he was too busy looking at reddit. So i do all the cooking which I honestly don't mind because I enjoy cooking.

I called him after work asking what he wanted for dinner, his response was "Well I don't know, whatever we have ready"...uhh do you not understand the concept of cooking?! It's not ready until I serve it damn it! So I tried asking what sounded good because I would have to run to the grocery store since nothing was defrosted, " I really don't know Stacie, just choose something okay?" Listen here you little pigmy imp, I'd much rather not cook after the migraine I've had today so a little cooperation would be nice... Needless to say, I'm fixing what I want and he can eat or not, I don't give a damn.

Hello ladies! so my bosses basically told me today that if I go out on bed rest and use all time, the won't hold job. I understand the rules of FMLA but what rights do we have? Do we have to give our notice if we are not coming back to work after leave? And if so, how much notice?. Thanks!!
