have been insane! So DH and I went to the OSU/Oregon game in DFW. Left 3am monday and got back at 11pm last night.
TSA was a pain in the ass on the way back. Full pat down, hand and bag swab etc, but I didn't have to discard any of my milk, so obviously worth it and I honestly fully expected it.
Ladies- I pumped in a cab, at first aid (att stadium) in my seat at the stadium (luckily we were the top row, so no one noticed and I had my cover) on 2 flights (again luckily dh and I were the only ones in the row) I can officially say I don't care what people think lol. I had 40+ ounces with me and I thank god for my Medela battery pack.
PSA- I found a clearanced oversized cooler bag at target for $10 and it fit the motor, cooler bag, parts, wipes, and cover. And the extra insulation from the bag itself kept everything cool with ice packs.
Way to go Momma! I am so jealous you got to a game, DH and I have gone to a Penn State game every year since we have known each other, but opted out this year because of LO. If you pumped in your seats for god sake I should've gone to a game!!!!
@mfsunshine222 My dad is a Penn State alum and I grew up going to Penn State games. We had season tickets and drove all the way from Arkansas every other Saturday. I still like Penn State, but I went to UofA and am now a hogs fan. Although all that SEC crap is annoying even to me.
ETA: Oh, and I EP all the time but never pumped in public..except work (with a locked door). So kudos to you mislogis!!
All the way from ARKANSAS! Holy Crap...that is dedication!!!!
I am so impressed you pumped at the stadium. That is amazing. Did you have people right next to you?
@belle785 yep! There was a younger family to my left (boys were 8 and 10) and older people to my right. I sat between dh and a friend (best man at our wedding) I didn't want to not watch the halftime, and I didn't want to battle the crowds. So while it thinned out around us, I threw on my udder cover, and pumped. No one could hear it, and no one in front of me turned around so I felt completely comfortable.
That said it's my third, I'm not shy, I've been to Mardi Gras and sometimes you just have to do it!!
I have now pumped at OSU, Cleveland stadium, ATT stadium with no apprehensions and no problems. If your seats aren't last row, just head to first aid. Each location was SUPER accommodating and the emt's extremely nice.
Re: Pumping rockstar right here! The last 48 hours
