May 2015 January Siggy Challenge: "You had one job"
Sending T&P your way!! As a NICU nurse, I have seen many babies born at 24, 25, 26 weeks that do really great. Try to have faith in your NICU team. Those drs are some of the smartest most compassionate people I have ever worked with. Will be thinking about you. Please keep us updated!!! >:D<
Sending positive vibes your way. I know a little girl that was born at 23 weeks, 1lb 3oz and shes a perfect vibrant 3 year old now! Try to stay positive.
Glad to see an update! I am not an expert but my sister had two micro premies 23 wks 6 days and 26 wks 3days. When her water broke with my nephew at 19 weeks they gave her antibiotics to help prevent infection so if they are not doing that you might ask and see what they say. Also she said they should give two steriod shots 24 hrs apart but that was a few years ago so who knows now....Best thing is if you can keep baking, every day helps! It was a much easier NICU stay for my neice who came at 26 weeks 3 days but still hard none the less.
That is very scary. I'm so relieved you/they have been able to get baby to stay put for now. Fingers crossed he stays put until he's healthy enough to come out. Bed rest this early sucks, if it's for the duration. You're doing your best, mama, even though it's hard to stop your mind from wondering what you could have done. Must be that mama protector kicking in but there's no way to know if it would've happened anyway. Thinking of you and your baby.
UPDATE**** Thanks for all the well wishes again, I'm feeling much better after talking to a ton of amazing doctors and nurses today! Baby is staying put and I'm going to be here in the hospital until the big delivery day. I currently have no contractions and the baby still has fluid around them (with help of lots of IV fluids as well) I was given a steroid shot and will receive another later tonight. I have to be hooked up and frequent checks on baby girls fluid levels just to be certain that is all okay. They have antibiotics running IV to hopefully prevent a bad infection. I will really know more as tomorrow or the next day comes....pretty much if infection can be stopped and the fluid levels remain as they are baby can stay put, but otherwise they will have to take me into the OR for a CS. I have high hopes that everything will turn out great!!! Also my BP is great right now which also makes me really happy!
Very happy to see a positive update. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
All the ladies involved in the 24hrs of silence are still thinking of you and will be checking in for updates, so please keep us posted when you are able to.
Big creepy internet hugs

Hot damn! That is great news! I hope everything stays positive for as long as it can. Although I don't envy you the hospital stay. Are you on complete bed rest or can you at least get up to pee and move around a little?
