Tuesday Symptoms, movements (baby and bowel), butt hurts etc. IN HERE YOU GUISE!

I'll go first, and apologies if there was already a board but I didn't see it...if so...I will dirty delete this and we can pretend I'm another troll.

I'm officially to the point that I can't wear normal clothes except my leggings. My pants won't do up and my shirts keep sliding up my back/belly. Yesterday walking back to work from the post-office I felt like my stomach was really cold, turns out it was because my shirt was all rolled up under my bra. Neato.

And NPR, but DH's calf went numb last night and never got the feeling back. It isn't bothering him per se (except that it is freaking weird) so he went to work this morning and I have told him to call the doctor and see if they can get him in or if he needs to go to emerg. I made the mistake of going to see Dr. Google about it this morning and now I am freaked out...it'll probably be nothing but thanks for giving me all the worst case scenarios Doc Google!

  • Oh no! I'll be thinking about your husband. Hopefully it's something simple like a compressed nerve. I had that once and it just took a few days at a chiropractor.

So, here's an "anyone else?" for you... Does everyone's bladder feel constantly on the verge of exploding? I ALWAYS have that painful bladder feeling I used to only get when I had held it for too long, and constantly feel like I have an emergency on my hands even if I don't. Sounds sort of UTI-ish (good baby name? I'll put a pin in it,) but I've had so many of those before, this feels different. I don't know. ANYONE ELSE?

  • @jenniebird327‌ I've had pains, but nothing that's brought me to the doctor. I hope everything goes ok with the EKG! I've had some palpitations and I know that's normal during pregnancy, so I hope it's just a minor off-shoot of that, and nothing more serious. Yikes..

OMG yes! This past week has been the worst for me so far. I am literally having to pee multiple times an hour! Every time I have to sneeze I cross my legs and pray that I don't have an accident. I've been told that it only gets worse....

Also, I finally gave in a bought all new maternity clothes, best thing EVER!!!

  • Nurses all seem to expect me to be enthusiastic.  Um... I'm sick, I've been up since 3, and I only have a certain amount of energy a day, and considering that I have a beautiful, hilarious toddler to spend the rest of the day with, I'm not going to work myself up over "OK blood pressure!" and "negative early GD test!"  Especially when I've had to wait half an hour past my appointment time (despite literally walking in while they were unlocking the doors and having the first appointment of the day.)

Ugh hormones. I have been feeling very sad all morning with no real trigger for it. It's definitely not me-I'm usually very upbeat. This morning I just feel like I've been super critical of everything in my life. It probably doesn't help that I'm fighting off some sort of cold but this is super bizarre for me. And to top it off I started crying and my dog who is apparently very in tune with me sat next to me and started doing this little soft cry too-which made me feel even worse! Ugh!

Besides being constantly cold and having a little bit of back pain, I'm having extreme anxiety regarding my A/S this afternoon. I've been experiencing minor panic attacks since  last night and this morning. I've had to take xanax for my anxiety issues before I got pregnant (just sporadically when the need arose, not on a daily basis), and surprisingly haven't had any issues with any anxiety since my BFP until now. I've had no issues or concerns with my pregnancy to date, but my husband and I elected not do any testing due to low risk/no history of issues, but I just can't shake this anxiety. Ugh.

I know should be excited. I'm sure everything will be ok, and we're finding out the sex too if baby G will cooperate. If I can make it through today I should be fine....

I hope you ladies all feel better.

  • Woke up at 3 am and then just did not fall asleep again, and then started dry heaving. Sooo I just said fuck it and called in sick to work because damn it I'm tired and grumpy and don't want to deal with it.
  • Anyone else having trouble literally rolling yourself out of bed? I think I'm super uncoordinated or something because I don't think my belly is big enough to blame that. It doesn't help I'm sure that DH is on one side of me with 2 or 3 dogs on the other. And my snoogle (as much as I looooove it) traps me inside of it lol.
  • @mathistm‌ I love your dog! What a cutie!

YES. I am NOT big. My center of gravity is starting to feel a little weird, but I am otherwise really the same as I was, but moving- especially getting out of bed- has gotten so hard. Not sure why. So strange. And as much as I love the Snoogle, it does really pin you down!

Yes! I cannot just roll out. I have to get on my side and use my arms to get up and sit in bed. And this also if I were laying down on my couch.
Also, loss of balance! Geez, when i lotion my legs i prop one up on the side of the tub, umm i don't know how many times I have almost fallen. This LO is part of my body now! Like seriously!

  • @pcrunk, I'm dying over the lava poop! I usually call it acid poop but lava poop sure takes the cake!

To everyone not feeling well, hope things turn around!!

I'm crampy/achy and it doesn't help that last night was the first night of obedience school for my dogs. The breeder thinks my german shepherd puppy is a "gentle giant" which is apparently a large breed german shepherd. So why I had hoped would be a 90-100lb monster could possibly be a 120+ lb monster.

And pregnancy brain has taken over, I cannot keep track of when I washed my hair last(gross but my hair isn't oily and washing it every day dries it out) now can I remember if I put deodorant on. Thank goodness I carry one in purse for days like today.
  • I don't know if it's a symptom per se, but I keep having like random muscle twitches and spasms in my stomach. Like I'll be on the bus or just sitting still and it feels like my stomach is trying to suck itself in and it keeps spazzing. It's just weird cause I'm not purposely doing anything to it. Does baby movement usually feel like this or is it just a weird muscle thing?
  • I have all of a sudden become incapable of being away from my husband. It's like if he's not there for 20 minutes all I can think is that I want to cry because I have nobody to snuggle with (except for my 2 dogs who are the snuggliest beings on the planet, so it's not like I'm sitting around shivering by myself...)

I guess it's hormones? I mean, don't get me wrong, I adore my husband, but I usually enjoy my alone time every now and then. Now it makes me so anxious and lonely. WTF.

  • Finally felt baby move yesterday. I have a feeling I'm going to gain 8374 lbs because eating and then relaxing is when I feel it..such a weird sensation.

Aaaand back on the merry go round of not pooping for days, pooping uncontrollably, and then not pooping for days. Hooray!

  • Holy RLP, batman. I shifted my hips forward a few minutes ago and thought I was going to slither out of my chair onto the floor. It still feels a little twingy.

My stomach's capacity seems to have decreased. I definitely can't eat the same amount in one sitting that I used to be able to. Which is probably not actually a bad thing.

And I must have had some energy that I wasn't aware of last night, because I actually cooked dinner after I got home and repacked my gym and lunch bags! Let's see what kind of magic I can make happen tonight!

I also ate half a huge bag of almonds in one sitting! I gained 3 lbs in the past 1-2 weeks. I can't stop eating!

  • Finally at the urgent care for the cough that won't go away after 18 days. I feel dumb for going in for a cold/cough, but I can't take another day!!! OB told me to go to urgent care so here I am...
  • @Schnurette‌ I'm becoming too fat for my leggings even. That's sad. Can anyone give me some SS advice? I've been having chest pain (on and off not every day or always frequent, doesn't cause shortness of breath or radiate) located right over the left side of my chest, so I associate it with my heart. I talked to my doctor and I have an EKG tomorrow just to be safe. I don't think it's heartburn because that's usually in the center of my chest and I can really feel it. I asked Doctor Google too but now that just makes me worry I'm going to keel over and die of a heart attack or blood clot. I'll obviously wait until after the EKG tomorrow to get some answers from the Dr. but I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this and what it ended up being? I'm having it again this morning and it's so annoying to worry about it .
I had this when I was pg with DS.  I had an EKG done as well, and turns out because of the extra blood flow, it basically caused a heart murmur to develop.  It was a non-issue for me, but they watched my blood pressure and heart rate just to be safe.  It completely resolved itself after DS was born.

  • Yesterday I wore a bra that I realized barely covers any of my boob because they've gotten so big. So we went to the store yesterday and I bought 2 new bras 1 cup size up. The ladies are so much more comfortable today!

Other than that, I've been having frequent headaches. Thankfully they're not migraines, but they're annoying and I hate to be taking Tylenol nearly every day.

  • I have green rubber cement - like mucous coming from my sinuses. I want to rip teeth out! Finally broke down and saw dr today and got some antibiotics, thank the good Lord!

I'm also in the group of not pooping for SO long, then having a day of pooping that hurts so bad. The cramping is awful! :( unfortunately, this is something I've dealt with as a non pregnant woman. BOO!

  • Anyone else feel like they have a black hole in their stomach? I ate a healthy sized breakfast this morning and 90 minutes later, as I'm driving to work, I'm suddenly famished! I graze throughout the day but can't seem to get rid of that hunger pit. Then, when I get my lunch, I eat two bites and am full. For about 10 minutes. Absolutely redic.

Yes! Ive been eating more than my giant of a husband lately! Hes been giving me half of his dinner every night for the past week and been getting up all night to get me snacks after the fact!
  • I am starving. I will eat a meal and still be starving. I don't remember being this hungry with my daughter.
  • Chronic laziness and non-stop chocolate milk drinking is where I'm at this week. Are they symptoms?

    image

  • I think I felt the baby move this morning right before I got out of bed for the day. No gas or pooping afterwards, which is usually what happens after I think I've felt the baby. So maybe this was real?

My cough and congestion are clearing up a bit today...I'd still kill for a dose of diesel Mucinex but at least I made it through the night last night without a massive coughing fit.

  • I had such a huge poop this morning that I cried from joy. It was epic and I felt like a new woman afterwards. EPIC.

Was up all night last night with cramps and BH contractions. Now I definitely know what they feel like. My uterus contracted into a hard ball. I stayed up to make sure I wasn't in freaking labor or anything (I have no clue how this shit works, really need to get to reading my baby books). Of course I freaked out and naturally thought I was dying bc I'm a hypochondriac.

Told doc at my anatomy scan today and she said water water water. Water will solve my aches and cramps. Said that when you are dehydrated your body releases oxytocin (pitocin) and makes you contract or cramp. Hopefully I understood her and explained that correctly. So that made me feel better. My insides look good and baby is healthy as can be so I'm thankful for that.

@jenniebird327‌ I had that too. Turned out to be not heart related it was just heart burn or indigestion. I could have sworn it was my heart. I can tell now bc I track it and almost always it's after I eat. Also had a lot of heart palps too and that was from the extra blood flow. Good you're getting it all checked out!! You'll feel much better with a clean bill of heart health.
  • IBS is being bipolar. One day I'm fine, then next I can't figure out why my body is being such a pain in teh ass (literally).

Other than that little dude is moving around a lot (especially at night right before I fall asleep, so he keeps waking me up (and his big brother keeps doing that to due to some kind of sleep regression)! OY!

Only down part so far is my mother told me she and my father are worried about how much weight I am gaining and how much I am eating.

18 weeks, I've gained 15 Pounds.... I know I will gain more. I'm not worried, but just bummed me out. I'm starving cuz this baby is growing! But I am at least finally able to pick healthy options (not the case 1st tri)....

  • I'm at the awkward stage where I felt baby really good for 3 nights last week, and now not much at all lately. I'm just getting to 19 weeks so I know it's not something to stress about yet, but I guess I just miss it already! I can't wait to feel it all the time!
  • brennazesquire I am a law clerk and deal with these crazies all the time! It's not as bad where I work now, but the firms where I worked before it was just constant with people wanting free advice and they would get cheesed off if I wouldn't give it to them. We have a legal clinic line that people can call and I just give people that now if they aren't calling to make an appointment. That way I seem helpful but really am just putting them over to someone else who will tell them to hire a lawyer.
  • Headaches, headaches, headaches. Congestion, which is only manageable by putting Vicks literally in my nose so I smell like menthol all the time. I feel pretty ok most of the time as far as nausea goes but if I let myself get too hungry, game over.
  • I didn't know someone could pee so much. That's all I do. Plus eat. But I've switched up my eating habits for health foods so hopefully that'll calm the weight gain.

OMG girl, I haven't slept well in days either! The cramps and pains are awful! I got yelled at about water too when I called my doctor freaking out (didn't help that a couple days ago I had a dream about delivering at 18 weeks. In the dream, the baby was fine and I was fuming mad that I delivered before my A/S. I was yelling at my hubby that I knew we should've painted the nursery sooner. LOL). So ever since, my life has been a constant cycle of drinking and peeing. What fun! Glad to hear your scan went well and baby is healthy!
