Tell me about your vehicle

Re: Tell me about your vehicle

  • We bought a 2014 Toyota Highlander last year. I HIGHLY recommend it. It has a 3rd row seat that's super easy to put up and down. It's really comfortable to drive. I've nursed in the back seat a bazillion times and it's really comfortable. The 3rd row is certainly not made for adults to sit comfortably, but little ones don't mind it!

Plus... It seats 8 muppets!! (I'd GIF if I knew how)

    Another Highlander vote.

I have a 2011 Highlander and LOVE it.
Ive nursed in it more times than I can count. I've sat in the 3rd row comfortably but I'm on the short side. The gas mileage is great.

Sorry didn't bother to read all 3 pages so I'm sorry if I'm doubling anything!

I bought a Kia Sportage brand new 4 years ago and I LOVE IT. 4 years and all I've done to it is replace the rear windshield wiper. They have 100,000 mile warranty, which VERY few vehicles do anymore. Everyone made fun of me when I said I bought a Kia, but it was a great decision then and now Kia is a more highly thought of brand.

I would maybe recommend the Sorrento instead of the Sportage though. Believe me I love my Sportage, but the Sorrento is more of a small SUV whereas my Sportage is a small crossover.

  • i have a 2015 jeep grand cherokee - it is so great in the snow, and i have always loved Jeeps. I think its a cool SUV, not a mom car. Once we have more kids though my dream car is a big white chevy tahoe.

  • I drive a Subaru Legacy. I love it & it's AWD.
However, we definitely need to upgrade to more space. Family outings have become somewhat of a hassle... Trying to cram everything/everybody in.
Happy to read all of the reviews :)
  • I love my Ford Edge.  It doesn't have a 3rd row though...  My husband has a Ford Explorer with the 3rd row, but I wouldn't recommend it.  We don't love it as much as the Edge...

I have a big white tahoe now and I love love love it. But being so short it's hard with little ones. I'd wait until they can all at least climb in before getting one. Lifting kids, climbing in myself to buckle, then lifting stroller/gear into back and I'm ready to take a nap before I've even left the garage. Plus the third row is not accessible with car seats in the middle.

What don't you like about the Explorer? We need a third row so this was on our list to check out.
