To the idiot who made the comment about eating fat being good for you. There is a difference between good fat and bad fat. It doesn't mean eat fried chicken it means avacado, nuts, olive oil.
Actually, fried at the right temperature, food absorbs very little oil during the frying process. So the "fried food is bad for you" argument holds little water, especially when it is eaten sparingly, like once a week.
Every woman absolutely does deserve to be proud of their body. That means not feeding it high fructose corn syrup, complex carbs, sugar and fat and blaming your 50 lb weight gain on a thyroid problem. Let's be serious. Im proud of my body because I take care of it not because I use my pregnancy as an excuse to be a gluttonous slob. I feed myself and my baby what we need to be active and healthy. Food is fuel not for comfort.
You seem to know a lot more than my endocrinologist - and it's fascinating how I became a gluttonous slob. I have never said this to anyone before on this board - honestly - but FUCK OFF.
Random: I fry my food in coconut oil, which is ridiculously healthy... however, by @marchbaby123 logic I am a fatass pumping my face full of bad fat...

Got distracted from the random thread by the banana pants stuff going on here. Jeez. Marchbaby went a little off the rails there didn't she? o.O Cheers to the M15 ladies though!
BTW, @marchbaby123 I had donuts for breakfast, they were delicious. I then had pizza for lunch, it was also delicious.
I've gained the recommended amount for my current BMI and I am healthy with low cholesterol, awesome blood pressure and I passed my GD test with flying colors, so you can take all your stereotypes and stuff them. I'm sorry you don't let yourself enjoy life.
We should have a potluck to celebrate! I'll bring the cookies and fried chicken!!!
Who's on the fried butter and snickers?
I need to google this. How do you fry butter? People eat it? Just, like, a stick of fried butter? I can't quite wrap my brain around this. I also don't get fried ice cream, but it's delicious, so I'm just not going to ask any questions.
--------------- Put butter inside dough, deep fry it. Simple and delicious! (I actually googled this to make it at Christmas time.) We are also gonna need some fried coke! With coke syrup drizzled on top and ice cream. Edit- quote box fail
I lied about nothing, I care about people's health is why I even chose to comment. Usually I just read all of you bullying anyone that celebrates health or talks about their weight because you are all clearly insecure and fat and won't let anyone else be happy for themselves. It's pathetic.
First, someone with a PhD would know how to use proper grammar. Second, calling something as it is =/= bullying. For being so high and mighty unlike us bullies, your last 2 sentences contradict themselves. Oh I doubt a nutritionist would be pegging people as fat, insecure, and pathetic. Lady, you are a fucking trip.
My two meals of the day qualify as a binge? Damn. I'll let my doctor know that I'm not allowed to eat 3 mini donuts and two slices of thin crust pizza because it counts as a binge. Good thing I'm going for a high protein dinner. You saved my life.
Does anyone else want to just see how long she will keep responding? Like at this point I don't even care what she says, I kinda want to see how long we can keep this thread alive. It's pretty entertaining watching her replies and how idiotic they sound.

I have been lurking on this board for a long time, but have not actually introduced myself. I read this thread though, and felt the need to point out that a nutritionist should probably know that complex carbs are actually high in nutritional value. They are good for your heart and for weight loss, are a good source of fibre, and are an important way to fuel our bodies and feed our babies!
And I definitely agree that there are a lot of factors that impact the amount of weight you gain or lose! Every woman and every pregnancy is different.
@marchbaby123 I wasnt even going to make a comment. But oh well. Do you listen to yourself before you post such crude ass remarks? You must have a stick up your ass to think that everyone has time for your definition of exercise. also climbing stairs DO count. It burns calories. Just because you are so uptight about what you do and what others do.... and so what if a person treats themselves to chic fil a once a week. Thats their pleasure. Not your invitation to judge or criticize. I envy her for actually being able to keep food down. I havent been able to eat shit really since I got pregnant. I suffered from hypermesis gravidarum and subchroinic hematoma. I wasnt even allowed to exercise or let alone climb stairs in risk of a bleed or miscarrying. I was afraid to eat because it only came back up. And even when I did eat it only made me sick. I felt like I was starving my baby. I still do. I keep hydrated as best I can yet I still get dehydrated. Just because your pregnancy is one way for you doesnt mean it will be that way for every woman. I may not know shit because im only 21 with my first kid and doing this on my own but I know enough from what my OB tells me. Peoples bodies are different. each pregnancy is different. Im so glad not every woman on here is born with the same stick up their ass. you women that are bashing each other over a baby site/app... are we in highschool? Babies are supposed to be a happy topic. Pregnancy is supposed to be a happy topic. Yet here are women whom are soon to be a mother one day and maybe some of you are already and yet you are degrading and or shaming one another. I come here because I am doing this on my own. Im scared shitless. I dont know what to expect. Yet what do I have to see when i come on here? is women fighting and arguing. over what? Weight. One of the leading causes for BOTH boys and girls to feel depressed because they dont look like some stick person on a magazine. let me tell you something. I will let my daughter know she is beautiful everyday. No matter what she looks like and if I ever catch her treating someone else the way some of you have, well... I just hope I dont. Goodnight girls.
