i hope no one minds if I get this started, I didn't see it yet.
It's 4:14am my time and I just fed DS, he slept from 10-3:20, which is pretty good. He was crazy fussy and gassy prior to sleeping and I was getting a migraine, apparently we both feel better now and are wide awake! I put him in his swing in hopes that he falls asleep and he has been laughing and smiling at me the whole time, super cute, but mama wants to sleep!
I hope all you other mama's are getting some rest!
Re: Monday randoms
PSA: don't use Dateline as your bedtime crutch. It was mine the whole pregnancy, and I decided to return to it last night. Now I'm terrified someone will try to murder my LO when she's in college.
Good luck to you too @targetpopcornmomma if you decide to go. I would suggest your husband take A somewhere that she really likes to distract her, but that doesn't seem feasible if he will also have S. You're in a tough spot.
@targetpopcornmomma - good luck if you decide to go. That's sweet A is so concerned for you.

@Wolkie OOOOORRRRRRR….we could all teach our LOs South African (I am ashamed I do not know if that is actually the name of your language…I got a math degree. I bad at words and culture things.)
@smboswell1 Nah, you got more action at your 6 week pp check up I am sure. :P
@oklahomamom09 That SAHM job comment pisses me off. Especially now that you have a LO to schlep out in the cold too! Sorry you have to deal with that.
@Becks517 Boob. Always boob. (Unless you EFF, then "Bottle. Always Bottle.”)
We have our 2 month shots today and of course it's snowing. I wouldn't be going out at all if we didn't have this appointment. I'm hoping LO sleeps afterwards and I can watch Downton Abbey on pvr. I'm also so interested to see how much he weighs!
@IndianaMommy08 - hugs to you and Ruby. Hope all goes well today.
@targetpopcornmomma -that must be so stressful for you guys. I know you will make the best decision for your health and A's feelings.

And good luck to everyone who has appt's and has to be out on messy roads!!
@targetpopcornmomma -What a sweet little lady! She doesn't want you to go alone. FX for a good appointment.
They took my dad back an hour ago. They put him on heparin and the pressure boots just in case because we don't know which parent I got the factor v from. It'll be 4-5 hours. I cried when I dropped Connor off this morning. I just wanted him close to me. Praying that all goes well with his surgery.
I'm back at work today and it's pouring rain. Matches my mood at least!
Also, It's 9:30 am and I'm hungry. My body isn't used to waking up and eating breakfast at 6 am!
@IndianaMommy08 Good luck with Ruby's appt today!
Also good luck to all you mommies facing a big change today, with you or SO returning to work!
@targetpopcornmomma I hope you are able to find a way to balance A's needs with yours--she needs a healthy mama! I'm in awe of all you do for her despite what you are going through. She's one lucky girl
It's 6:30am and I'm eating mint oreos in bed while feeding LO. I'm convincing myself it's OK because its my birthday and what's a birthday without some treats!?
Of all the things we did to prepare for today, we forgot to set alarms. I woke up at 4am thinking I would just go back to sleep because my alarm would go off at 5am. Cue freak out when I woke up at 6:45!! We leave by 7:40. So I had to wake DS, nurse and change him, pump, shower and get ready. I skipped breakfast because I just didn't have time. Then DS wouldn't go back to sleep, he just wanted me. I was in tears in the car because he was so very smiley and happy to see me. I miss him so much today.
We're still looking at day care providers. Visited three since Wednesday, but we'd be "the next to be called as soon as they have a space." Nerve wracking.
Talon did awesome while we were there though
I finally had secks for the first time since LO last night...that's all.
@Wolkie that was really sweet of you to wait for your friend to be ready. She's a strong woman -- I wasn't able to do anything baby related after my third loss. I don't know her history or if she tells you much, but she should really see a RE (reproductive endocrinologist) if there's one available and she hasn't yet.
