  At my hospital (I'm labor nurse at a big hospital with a level IV NICU) the only time we'd do a c-section for an early baby (preterm labor) is if baby was a breech or transverse presentation, there was a previa or fetal distress noted. Obviously if we're delivering an early baby due to maternal complications such as PIH or something that's a whole other story.

  Ultrasound @ 5w6d=heartbeat at 110!
