  • That I'll get up at 530. 3/5 days last week I went back to sleep with the baby until 730.

  • I keep saying I'm going to stop EPing soon, but I'm terrified of the drying up process. :-S
I am going through this right now. I have done it gradually and it hasn't been too bad. First I reduced the number of times I pumped and shortened the sessions. The first day that I tried not pumping at all was the worst. I ended up pumping at night and I just did it till I was comfortable.

Listen. I won't shit you. It was hell. For a day. Then it was just annoying. It took a week or two, but the worst was the first 48 hours. I took lots of ibuprofen. I have it down to a science when you are ready, whether it's in a week or a year.

Or, just do it gradually, not cold turkey by slowly spacing it out. That takes a long time but it's probably hardly noticeable if you go slow enough (over the span of months).
Thanks, Purp. :) I've read about weaning off the pump and it takes a while. I'm just going to keep going and cross that bridge when I come to it.

  • I'll use the time after the kids go to sleep to make-ahead some meals for the week. I tell myself this lie every. single. night.

I did it gradually and was never uncomfortable. It doesn't have to be that bad i swear.
We will have to chat when I decide to start stopping (?) Lol. Thank you! :)

Me too. I keep thinking I want to just transition to FF but then I worry about regretting it. My supply is really low with pumping. So instead I just rented a hospital grade pump and bought some mothers love milk supply stuff. I know doesn't make sense.

Make sure to inform the rest of us. Specifically a DDD... I need to know how much I can deduct from that scale number since they dont count if they're here to stay, right?
