DH is adamant about getting the BOB stroller (he's a distance runner)
, so we decided to go with the BOB/Britax B-safe car seat. What I find ridiculous is that, while they are the same brand, you need to purchase an adapter for the car seat to work with the stroller. However, of course BRU does not have any in stock online or in-store so I believe I have to purchase it through Amazon. Any others have this stroller/car seat combo or a different car seat that worked better with the stroller that you would suggest as an alternative? I don't want to get a different stroller as DH has shown such an affinity for this one.
ETA: We know to wait around 5-6 months before running with the baby in the stroller. No worries - we won't be jiggling our newborn
Re: BOB Stroller & Car Seat
Leave the heavy car seat in the car. Even the ones that come on and off of bases are really awkward and heavy. And our kid hated her car seat when she was a baby so snapping it into the fancy travel system would have just prolonged the screaming.
Bottom line, wait until the kid is born and then see what you actually do and need. Amazon 2-day shipping is there for you.

*everyone always welcome*
We have a Bob Revolution which we purchased used off Craigslist for a lot cheaper and new Britax B-safe.
Purchasing any of those pieces online should not be an issue.
