Heartbeat apps

so, a while back I purchased 2 heartbeat apps and I had no luck with them. They do say to get the best results wait until 3rd trimester-but at the time ain't nobody got time to wait ;)

Welp, I tried today and heard my boy's heartbeat right away!! :) amazing!!

If anyone else is interested I used babyscope and mybabybeats. I got a better recording with babyscope.

I just had to share my excitement!

    I just got mine to work, too!! Funny thing is - I didn't realize you can hear it loud & clear with a stethoscope (bell side works best). I had to use stethoscope to find baby, then FINALLY got the app to work by listening in the same spot.

    I much prefer hearing him with my stethoscope, TBH!

    A couple days ago my DH put his ear to my belly. He's always had this odd fascination with gurgling stomach sounds. But instead he found the heartbeat all on his own! We counted a heart rate of 135 and it was the same at the OB's office a couple days later. It was really special because it was something he was able to do with the baby that I can't, so HE was able to share it with ME.
