Where was this money to bring back the dead in the last tsunami that she probably does not care about or all the American events like 9/11 and the hurricane that took her house....that she does care about.

Some people do not carry insurance on their houses...which can be stupid. I had a house fire once, I had insurance. Would it have sucked if I lost all my pictures...of course. Would I rather lose pictures then one of my loved ones losing their life? Yes...Would I rather lose all my pictures then any innocent person losing their lives in any fire, even if it was not my house...or even in the US...yes!

And you are right, $10 donation won't bring back a loved one...but I think this women is more about monetary possessions then actual people, which is incredibly sad and disgusting.

What a gem! Seriously! Does she not understand that the earthquake also affects the US! Not to mention those who have loved ones on the west coast and Hawaii and Alaska who were evacuated. I have friends and family in WA, OR, CA, AK and New Zealand who all had to pack what they could and move to higher ground just in case. This totally affects our country. That woman should be ASHAMED of herself!

Exactly. And there is heartache and inconvenience and pain associated with losing possessions. But in the end what do they matter when compared to the value of human life? Sigh. I hope she raises her children with a bit more compassion than that.
