My first car was a Toyota RAV4. It was fun having it in college since I could drive all my friends around. My dream car was a Ford Mustang. DH had one when we first started dating, so it was the best of both worlds, lol.
Mine was a 1978 Ford Fairmont. I got it for my 16th birthday and told my parents no thanks lol. They had it painted for me because the original color was a creamsicle Orange. The new color was a sparkly purple. Since I was the first of my friends to drive, we ended up loving it but I was definitely embarrassed once everyone started getting cars! It had the bench seats, side push horn and turn dial radio. Thankfully I only had it for a little bit then I got a 1988 Chevy Cavalier!
My first car was my husband's (then fiance's) first car that he gave to me when he got a pickup for work. It was a blue 2004 Nissan Sentra. It served me well and I was sad to finally trade it in last September.
Before that I really didn't need a car, I was a full time student in a small-ish college town that has an excellent bus system. Everyone who had a car told me that parking on campus was a pain in the ass, and half the time you still had to catch a bus from a parking garage to where ever your class was. I didn't even bother getting my license until I was 22, right after he told me he was giving me the car.
I had a Honda Accord. I forget the year but it wasn't new. It was my parent's car. Meh.. it was good enough I guess to learn on but definitely not a dream car.
Mine was an '89 Ford Escort Hatchback that was bright blue. My sister got it when she turned 16 from my grandma because she couldn't drive anymore. I got it when I turned 16 and she got a different car. I had it a month and got T-bones and totaled it. So I bought a cheap little Plymouth Neon a month after I got my license.
Dream car? HAH! My first car was a used '98 Hyundai Elantra. No auto locks or windows and only had a tape deck. The best part was that the previous owner wanted to "pimp it out" so It had fake pleather seats stapled in and a GIANT sticker across the back windshield of some teenage cartoon thug and it said "What the Deal Dun?" I spent a week with my friends ripping out the fake leather and peeling off the sticker.
The first I ever bought was a 2010 Mazda 3 the day I graduated college. It was exactly what I wanted at the time. 5 years later and I'm ready to upgrade but it will be paid off in April and I'm looking forward to being car payment free!
My parents had a jeep TJ that I drove through highschool and learned on. It was their car, but I drove it more often than they did.
Mine was a 1993 F-150 pickup in teal. It was the polar opposite of the preppy high schooler I was. I loved it and so did all my friends. We took it to prom. We thought it was the neatest most ironic thing ever. We bought it used and it was $800... I paid the last $50 in quarters from the tips I made scooping ice cream that summer.
My dad bought me a '65 ranchero as a project car for us to work on when I was 15. ( which he now drives) But I ended up driving a '98 Chevy Monte Carlo Z34. I loved that car, super fast. Then I moved onto drive and own many many other cars. I have always loved classic cars, and can't wait till DH and I buy a new project car.
My first car was a white 1988 Buick Century. Cost me $400 & had bench seats so fit 3 people in the front, 3 people in the back. The shocks were so bad that everyone had to lean the way we were turning so the back didn't drag on the ground. Had more ashtrays than passengers & the inside was a burgundy velour. I loved everything about it.
99 Pontiac sunfire that was a hand me down from my mom. 6 months later an uninsured driver totaled it and I only had liability insurance. I then got a corolla which was my dream car at 16:)

My first car was a 1980 Ford Fairmont! It was white with an orange-ish top (leather like, maybe?) My friends called it The Creamcicle. It didn't have a/c and only had am radio. I loved that old car.
A 99' Chevy silverado. I loved that truck, but sadly after about 3 months the transmission went out. After that I had a 2003 does focus and I loved it, until the transmission also went out. I have awful luck with transmissions apparently.
My first car was a 2001 Red VW Cabrio convertible. My parents splurged since I got a full athletic scholarship for university. I loved that car so much. Still sad I had to sell it but when I moved back to Canada it was not practical for the winters. Now with two kids and a third on the way I drive a mini van.
2000 Honda Odyssey...a mini van was NOT my dream car! DH's (then my boyfriend) parents gave it to me because I got attacked riding the subway. I was in college, he was in med school and we lived in the most dangerous part of the city. Riding the train was just not working out, though I managed for three years prior!
A 2000 Pontiac Aztek (the weird looking Survivor car). It was voted one of the top 10 worst cars ever made, but to me, it was perfection. In fact, I wish I kept it. I'm not sure another car can ever compare because I loved it so much.
At the time, I thought my dream car was a Dodge Neon. I liked how the tail lights were round. Lol
1985 Ford Tempo. It was red and 2 door and I worked the entire summer at a job I hated when I was 15/16 to be able to buy it. Loved that car to death and ran it into the ground. It had so many quirks! Had to warm up for at least 10 minutes, even in summer. Thought it was a stick (always had to have one foot on gas and one on break). It would shake above 60 mph (maxed out at 80). Buy the time I had to get rid of it, it wouldn't drive faster than 20mph. Bonus? I paid 1200 to buy it and the guy took it for trade sight unseen for 1500. Heck yeah.
My first car was such a surprise and not what I wanted but I loved it anyway. It was a white 1997 spider eclipse convertible. I would never in a million years buy a 17 year old a convertible but my parents are crazy. I only had it for a year though and didnt get another car until I graduated.
At 16 my dream car was a navy Mitsubishi montero sport.
My first car was a 1993 Chevy Beretta. My parents were the first and only owner. They gave it to me 11 years later, when they decided to get a new car. I was 16, just got my license. I loved that car, lol.
Married since 08/11/2012.
TTC since April 2014.
BFP 07/27/2014, due 04/2015. Natural MC 08/31/2014.
1993 Chevy Lumina I loved that little car I use to do 90 on the freeway it only went 90 ;;) I love that car that was my baby. 200 thousand miles and the engine locked. We had our fun.
A green 1997 Pontiac GrandAm, it was everything I really wanted in a car at the time. Bought it one summer when I was 15, just before getting my license. My parents would let me drive it to visit my boyfriend (now DH), we lived in a pretty small town with one cop so it wasn't a big deal. Sadly it didn't make it through the winter after a collision with another car. Sure do miss it!
When I was 17 and got my license my mom bought me a brand new 2009 white rav4 sport edition with all black interior. Back in the days that they had spare tires on the back. I was in love. I miss that car but it definitely wouldn't fit our family now. We now have a 2012 Toyota Venza and a 2012 ford escape that are already feeling small. Two car seats will be tight.
My first car was a silver Nissan Sentra 2005, which I got to pick up as my graduation gift two weeks before high school ended. I loved it!! It was pretty, and run smoothly, and was so fuel efficient!! Six years later on the exact day we purchased it I had it totaled in a horrific accident I was in, which happened two days before my civil wedding!! I miss the car badly, but at the same time, love the one I got as a wedding gift a week after the accident lol. I really didn't have a dream car. I loved the one I got - it was totally my pick, brand new, and a gift, so I did not pay a dime for it!!

1996 VW Jetta, stick shift. I loved that car so much!! I ended up totaling it 2 years later and tried to replace it with a 97 and it was nothing but a lemon
I bought an 01' Plymouth Voyager from my mom when I was 18. Never really had a dream car but I'd kill for a Honda Odessey right now. Hoping to get one when we move back to the mainland since they re cheaper there.

I got my cousins 1989 bmw coup. White with a blue top and blue leather interior. It was absolutely adorable except that thing was possessed. Had it for less than a year before my parents got me a new car
@murph317 my second car was a 98 Jetta gls stick. That little thing was so fast. Loved it. My parents sold it when I went away for college. It took me years to get over
A purple VW cabriolet convertible. (Not to be confused with the new cabrio models) I don't remember what year it was but it was super "vintage" and leaked when it rained but I loved it. It was kind of like a suped up golf cart and my brother and his friends from the rugby team once lifted it up and moved it across the parking lot on campus as a joke!
Married to DH since 2010, TTC since 2012
2 Furbaby pups, Miley and Ally

My first car was an 2006 Chevy cobalt in purple. I loved it. I drove it until I stupidly traded it in for a brand new car. I've still never wrecked a car!
My first car was a 1974 Chevy Nova. It was cherry red and had a 350 engine. It was the super sport series with everything original. Mind you, I turned 16 in 2000. I loved that car! It had been my great grandmothers and she had bought it new in 74'. She hardly drove it so It was in great condition. Sadly, I had to sell it to get something more reliable when I left for college.
My parents gave me a '98 Nissan Pathfinder when I got my license. I loved that car. And I broke over 200,000 miles on it before I had to leave it in a mud bog because there was no one that could tow me out and it was dead. Try explaining that one to your parents. Luckily / not so luckily, I was in college by that time and it was in my name and they said it wasn't their problem. So I bought and drove a crappy Chevy S-10 until I had some real money and was able to buy something nicer, which happened to be another Pathfinder.
BUT, my dream vehicle was always a navy blue F-250 with 2 bloodhounds in the bed of the truck. Not sure where this vision came from, but yikes! And I guess I'm not too far off from my dream, driving a GMC Sierra 1500 with 2 Jack Russells in the back seat. HAHAHA!
A 98 pathfinder was my dream car!! I wanted a pathfinder sooo bad!!
Instead I got a 98 Buick Century that my grandma bought around the time I turned 16, then she passed away a couple of months later, so my parents were like, perfect safe car for you. It was very uncool but my friends loved it because it seated 6 (than you bench seat in the front..) so we could all pack in. Also, my friends nicknamed everyones' cars and mine was "the granny mobile".
Mine was a Plymouth Neon. Maybe a '95? It didn't have air conditioning, power windows, and neither of the turn signals turned off by themselves. It was definitely not my dream car. I can't really remember what would have been back then.
A 92 Subaru Legacy in Maroon with a gray interior. It was my grandma's and had 2300 miles on it when I got it in 04. Drove that thing until it fell apart - literally things were flying off that car as I drove. Best thing about that car were the rubber bumpers ran into a lot of random objects and my dad never knew. My dream car at 16 was a limo lol I had zero interest in driving
