I didn't shovel our walk or driveway this morning. I planned to come home and do it but I am exhausted and our civic made it out. I am pro-pedestrian and so I feel bad, but I need a rest and errands before daycare pickup.

To the ladies who were bullied, what did your parents do or say? Did you tell them? I don't know what rage it would put me in if someone was cruel to my daughter...is there anything at home that makes it easier to deal with the hell at school? Hugs to all of you, I can't imagine.

I remember many a times my mother advocating for me at the school. I remember lots of tears as well. I feel just as bad for my mom as I do for myself.

My Mom tried to help, but it involved calling the school. It's one thing to be bullied, but things get worse when they find out you tattle.

Most of my bullying started shortly after my Dad died, unfortunately. My relationship with my Mom was strained after that (long story there) so I stopped talking to her about it.

Uh... I guess my parents were busy. They paid for the Tae Kwon Do tho, so I guess they thought I would take care of myself. I just remember my mom, when asking her when she was going to help me, saying she couldn't get a call back from the principal, but she was working on it. Nothing ever happened. Lately I've been worrying about Eliza. She is such a social kid. Wants to be everyone's friend but she's a bit socially awkward. She doesn't understand that we don't touch people. She has friends at church and stuff and I'm really glad but I see her pushing boundaries and I don't want her to be the annoying friend that touches people too much. Personal space and all that. I've been trying to teach her now that I'm noticing it (I recently became her teacher for Sunday School).

As for Eliza, I just say stuff to her like, "that's so great that you want to play with everyone. Just please be careful about touching other people. We don't want to hurt anyone. Go ask her if she wants to play with you! That would be so much fun!" It's always upbeat and I encourage being friendly. I just don't want her to grab or push. Which she's done a few times.

How is it a girls fault that she was picked up by force (cause you floated in the air??) and was held against her will to be felt up? The more I think about this the angrier I get.
