@buggunsbo I went into a Dollar Store before Christmas to look for stocking stuffers (first time in years). I was so sad when I walked down the toy aisle that THESE were the only toys a lot of kids would be getting.
On a happier note, I picked up a few sticker sheets and little notebooks to stuff in my purse to keep LO occupied in a pinch.
Oh, super lame FFFC: I bought rice krispie treats from au bon pain 3 days this week even though they are ridiculously overpriced and I knos perfectly well how to make them at home.
@amparo1981 I hadn't had those in years, and forgot how good they were, until I went to a party recently and there was a platter of them. I ate ALOT of them. Double digits, and they weren't cut to a bite sized portion... X_X
I'm intently listening to the conversation my doctor is having with the patients in the next room. It's a train wreck mom and teenage daughter. It's ridiculous, like laughable but so very sad I wouldn't be able to hear them if they weren't so loud!
@audrey1787 I used to do that in elementary school with spelling contests. I would intentionally misspell a word because I didn't want people thinking I was too smart.
I was always very pleased with myself if I did something better than others in school. Maybe because it didn't happen often? Or, maybe because I didn't care what other people thought?
I graduated 15th in my class out of like 400+ students. But I suck at Trivia Crack.
I hate Dollar Tree, but still get random crap every now & then .. Like gift bags.
My FFC: I did my daughter's preschool homework without her. I had to cut out 3 pictures from a magazine that start with J. This morning I showed her the pictures she was bringing, so she could claim them as hers.
I will gladly eat 5 or 10 fun size candy bars in a sitting, but I would never buy a king size candy bar and eat it all at once because that would just be ridiculous.

I'm wearing the same outfit I wore on Wednesday, which is practically the same outfit I wore on Monday... and I haven't washed any of it...
I sent Ben to dc in the same pants that he wore yesterday. I just spot cleaned the peanut butter off. I left the outfit I was going to put on him in my bedroom, then changed him in his and didn't like any of his pants options, except for the ones he wore yesterday. Chances are, he got more peanut butter on them within 10 minutes of getting to dc anyway.
My husband got me some fancy gourmet truffles as a surprise the other night. I've been "loading laundry" daily in the laundry room to eat one so I don't have to share.
Abby is so excited to go to school in her new room & I'm happy for her. The FFFC part is I'm jealous of her new teacher getting to be with her all day. I know I've had tons of time & still get Tu/Th with her all day. I just love her company & seeing her grow/learn/play. She's having a blast & it's good for both of us. I just love my kid & want to hang out.
The Director (and the teacher of the twos classroom) are super eager to have Alex attend school. I'm not ready!!! I love getting to teach him, read & sing songs. H & I are talking about it & when he turns 2 he might go.
The idea of three days a week without my kiddos makes me fidget. It's good for them (and me too), but they are my adorable, smiley buddies.
I have plenty of adult friends & activities for myself-- the house would be super put together. I just love spending time with my lovies. I need to suck it up!
Where the hell have you been? People aren't supposed to leave me!
I'm sorry! I really had too much on my plate. Work was crazy, home life was full, then I'm trying to handle my "disease" through natural eating, which I enjoy but takes up a lot of time. It's good to be back and read things and know we're all in the same boat (i.e. Lingering pregnancy sideffects)
FX for a BFP! Pee on all the sticks!

My DH got me some nice chocolates for X-mas and I also sneak off to eat them so I don't have to share! I want them to last.
I returned one of DS1's presents because it broke within minutes of him opening it. I still haven't told him because he said it didn't matter, but I thought it was wasteful to have a new, broken present lying around the house. They gave me the money back but I didn't go back and by the same one because I'm pretty sure it'll break again.
My UO along with this confession is that toys for 4-5 year olds should be a lot stronger and not include little parts which can be lost easily.
@ChrissieMeas I got called chicken legs. It probably doesn't help that I weighed 75lbs until I graduated high school. I got picked on a lot and that's what probably made me so mean and such a bully
FFFC: I keep saying I only let Iris have her paci in her bed, but the past week or two I've been letting her have one around the house if she asks for it.
I used to try to limit Haddock's blanket usage but lately I haven't even tried. He just holds it most of the day. Whatever

We love our Nay Nays (or N^2 has Daddy calls it haha) around here. I'm firm about the "only at night rule" most of the time-- but for DD sometimes I bend my own rule for the sake of sanity.
I miss school sometimes just because it's a place full of people in the same situation/age to socialize with for several hours a day without even planning anything. Now to socialize it's more of a hassle.
And my serious confession. I blew my nose on the inside of my pajama shirt this morning and wore it for several hours. It was stuck to my tank top when I took it off :-bd
Meh, I don't care if I keep losing in TC; I still play if I'm bored. Like I haven't won a single game against @ashie624, but at the same time, I beat my husband at it 6-0. So it just depends on the questions and luck.
I think I just get lucky against you. Sometimes I get like no questions right for a long time haha..and some are like embarrassing. I should have gotten it but I somehow mess it up lol.
Sometimes DH will be talking to me and I get flustered. I want to tell him to shush for a second. Sometimes if you're playing me it might actually be DH haha
