Does anyone have a playard that is really easy to fold and reopen? I think it's time for S to move out of the bassinet, but I'm not quite ready for him to leave huge bedroom. We like the 4moms playard because it's so easy, but I'm trying to avoid spending $300.
I've tried a ton of them and I think graco is the easiest. Chicco is a huge pain in the butt!
My DH doesn't understand how I can spend so much time bumping. Are your husbands baffled too?? :-/
No. That's only because he knows my friends are in the computer. I have running forum friends, too. You should know my race reports are greatly anticipated and people are eagerly awaiting my return to the racing circuit so they can read my blogs.
In regards to bodily function nicknames, C has several: Little Miss Toots-A-Lot, Toots McFadden, and for when she is particularly prolific, Stinky McFarts.
Good news: Zack seems to be doing better. No news on when he might be discharged. They don't offer food to the parents here which is crazy to me. Only one of us can be here at a time because they won't let our other kids in and we don't have anyone to watch them. My dh has to bring me food and then I run out of our room and meet dh at the doors to this wing. The nurses won't watch zack so I can go. They just tell me to leave him (also crazy to me) but it's my only way to get food.
Other random: the buyer that made an offer on our house was supposed to respond to our counter offer by yesterday at 7pm. Their realtor told our realtor they are "too busy" to respond yesterday and will give us an answer by this weekend. I think it's so rude!

@BreandMikewedding. Hope you are out of your jailspital soon. Big hugs to you. Wish I could send you some king cake but the shipped ones aren't the same
@BreandMikewedding all the prayers and good thoughts for you and your family..
Ive been a cleaning machine today- husband had a "snow" (read: too cold) day from school today and his ass slept for ohh about three hours this afternoon while I cleaned the kitchen, living room, vacuumed, washed and folded all the laundry, plus tended to three kids (one of whom is potty training and will go poop in his little potty like a stealthy ninja and not tell you... so surprise, poopy butt!) All while he was dead to the world. So, husband, forgive me if your sexual requests fall on deaf ears.. just sayin.. I cleaned so much because mil is coming on sunday to help him with the kids while im at work and I dont want her to clean my house while shes here.. I know it sounds insane but it makes me ragey.. like I dont do a good enough job, or im lazy.. blah! Any who, happy thursday to everyone, hope it was fab.. I read half of the uos and stopped hope I didn't miss anything really good in the latter half!
@savicke2009 haha mil did my laundry and I'm all ooo, don't forget the dishes! She is obsessed with cleaning. She scrubs the bathroom every week. Who has that kind of time?!

Right?! With two pissing little boys with horrible aim, I have to be more diligent in their bathroom.. but master bath..
My mom will fold our laundry now and then and thats cool with me (I sound like such a brat), but mil wants to like shampoo carpets, wash windows, and scrub grout.. shit I should do but dont because three kids..
She always wants to use all the baby powder on them too.. which for some reason makes me crazy.. I thought about hiding it.. and she wants to give them all the baths.. my ds2 has horrible eczema and his skin cant take it, but that does not stop her. Lay off the powder, soap, & lotion! I love my mil, I really really do we're just different in some ways
It has been such a busy day. No time to post! I tried reading through randoms and just can't keep up. My DH has been away for 10 days and finally is home today! Woot! It has been rough taking care of two kids by myself with no voice because of this never-ending cold!
@kfitzguerra If you'd like some resources on relactation, to read about it and see whether it's something you'd like to try, let me know. Like Theresa said, you would need to pump round the clock every 2 hours for some time to reestablish your supply. You can decide whether you want to EP or just pump enough to give LO a bottle or two every day. And you can think about how long you might like to feed LO your milk.
I'll leave y'all with these, as they pretty well describe my day...
I love my hospital cup too. I was really bummed I didn't snag more than one. Then I found out they sell them on Amazon! So I am going to order several more.

I should mention she shampoos the carpet and painted DD'S room because my husband didn't get to it fast enough for her. Lol
Well, fuck. Looks like H is going to the doctor tomorrow for his ankle. His pain has increased, swelling is super bad and it's all bruised. I hope it's just a nasty sprain. [-O<

"We will be closing early this Saturday for the Seahawks play off game. Go Hawks!"
So rad, I love it.

Also, king cake looks awesome! I've never heard of it before.
