  • It's funny but hashtags here don't bother me but when people use them on FB I find it annoying as all hell.

    ??

I agree! Maybe it's because people are being funny about them here and people on Facebook are serious?

    Bingo!

  • I like coconut water, my DH says it tastes like old cooler water. I also like papayas and DH says it smells like a porta-potty at the fair

  • So what do you do with coconut water? Just drink it straight or do you add it to something else? Isn't it gross?

I drink it straight. I'll usually have it after a workout or if I'm hungover. Coconut water is my ultimate hangover cure.
Isn't it super strong? I like coconut flavored things.

  • I don't like chunks in my coconut water, I drink CoCo Libre (they sell it at Costco).

If you like coconut flavored stuff stay away lol this doesn't taste much like coconut it's the water in it so there is just a hint of flavor!!! But do try the vitacoco with added guava it's delicious :)

  • H and I are planning on going to a college basketball game with his brother and his wife, also taking DD. Does anyone else think it's insane that we are required to buy a ticket for DD too?

How are you supposed to change your child's diaper when they insist on having their feet in their mouth????

Mine flips over the second his back hits the changing pad then screams through the whole thing. I wish he understood that it would go quicker if he laid still.

    What?! That's ridiculous!

  • My toddler was screaming at bedtime because he did not have a band aid on each of his pinkies.

  • Damn you WVU! Haha hiding her is a good idea. I wanted to take her to a football game next year but heck if I'm paying for that.

If I used to be able to sneak giant bottles of liquor into the WVU coliseum, you should be able to sneak in a baby ;)

    Right!?
Bottles? That's impressive. I always wanted to try one of those camel back water things under a jacket at a football game.

  • umm, is your toddler, my pre-schoolers twin?  he want band-aids and "tucked in - NOT wrapped" as he puts it.

...Meanwhile my toddler is having the tantrum because the milk was in the wrong cup, and transferring the milk to the right cup just isn't good enough.  And then she takes the liberty of taking her diaper off and pooping on the floor, not out of spite though (at least not yet)
His band aid fell off. It was like his whole finger fell off with it. At least he doesn't poop on the floor though.

Yes what is it with kids and band aids! My 3 yr old always wants one in her arm, like its a sticker. Once she wouldn't let me take it off for days and her skin got all icky underneath. I felt bad but sometimes I just don't want to fight!

Tonight she was screaming and had a tantrum because I made her wash her hands after she peed. Serious tantrum for like 15 min. Ugh.

Ah, a randoms thread I can keep up with! *stretches fingers*

I'm thinking about switching to an 11-7 work schedule so I can see my kids in the morning and DH can see them in the evening. We'd each stress less about fitting in our work but I'll miss family dinner.

Would you be home for bedtime? If so, I think it sounds like a good idea. Just make weekend family dinners a priority!
Maybe. My toddler might be asleep but DS sleeps next to me so I'll see him regardless. We'll definitely do weekend family dinners.
