DH and I were both huge Pokemon nerds when we were kids, and a lot of our conversations/jokes still have a Pokemon reference in them. For example, "A wild AshCHB appears!" or "DH uses cuddle. It is super effective!" (yep, giant nerds here...) So yeah, we'll probably introduce the new LO to Pokemon just so he/she knows what in the world mom & dad are talking about.

This is so funny. My hubs and I are the same way. I like to make jokes that when I need to yell for one of the kids I'm like "dh I choose you! Use shout attack!!"
My favorite show as a kid was probably Arthur and Franklin. My kids have watched both but I hate the little characters attitudes so I stopped putting it on. I LOVE Justin Time and Peep. So adorable!
The Wuzzles, Zoobilee Zoo, Rainbow Brite, Popples, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Reading Rainbow, PeeWees Playhouse. Of all the shows, the kids have only seen two episodes of PeeWees.
I had a ton of favorites as a kid and older: Chip and Dale, Darkwing Duck, My Little Pony, Hey Arnonld, Reboot (anyone remember that one), Invader Zim, Powerpuff Girls, Billy and Mandy, Avatar, and a ton of animes. I'm a nerd.
DD likes the new My Little Pony (which is actually pretty good), Wild Kratz, Daniel Tiger, Sophia (gag), Doc McStuffins, Curiois George, and a few more
Hey Arnold, Doug, Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, That's so Raven, CatDog, Ahhhh Real Monsters, Pokemon, and Cow and Chicken. My kids haven't seen the shows becuase they only play them at night and I don't think I'd want them watching Cow and Chicken because watching it now, WOW is all I can say lol. And I forgot one, Boy Meets World.
Salute Your Shorts was my all time fave! My husband and I found bootlegs of them a few years ago and binge watched. We quote it often.
I loved everything else on Nick - Doug, Rugrats, Rocko, Are You Afraid of the Dark, etc. Kid will watch Rugrats with us sometimes. I JUST discovered Pee Wee's Playhouse is on Netflix and am super stoked about reliving my Saturday mornings.
My favorite was Duck Tales. I've tried to show my son a couple of episodes, but he wasn't interested. My kids have always liked Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Dora, Diego, Team Umizoomi, Curious George, and Busytown Mysteries.
I loved fraggle rock, Muppet babies, rugrats, David the gnome, and the one on Nickelodeon that had the koala. I can't remember the name of it, but I always watched it. DD enjoys fraggle rock while they sing and loses interest when they are not. She is a Disney Jr girl and loves Sofia the First aka "fi".
The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons... and yes, I've introduced my kids to them all. (DD had to learn the state capitals this year, and how did I teach her??
Also, old-school classic Mickey Mouse. My kids, especially DS, loves them.

FI and I have already decided that LO is going to be all about that Pokemon life. After we seen baby for the first time FI goes, "When baby is bigger, we have to introduce him to the first generation of Pokemon, ok?" Donʻt know if thereʻs anything sexier than that lol.
My all time favorite was Barney and Friends. I carried my Baby Bop doll with me everywhere & my first imaginary friend was actually one of the kids from Barney...Michael. He also went with me everywhere. Now, I donʻt watch many kidʻs shows, but I do love Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Sofia the First.
Mr. Rogers, under the umbrella tree, animaniacs, goosebumps, are you afraid of the dark, power rangers, saved by the bell, full house, boy meets world, Lizzy McGuire, the famous jet Jackson, all the Nickelodeon game shows of the 90's

The koala one might have been "the noozles", the David the gnome and the koala one were my favorites in kindergarten - I remember my mom scheduling me for afternoon kindergarten so I could watch both of those shows.
I also loved the Sharon, Lois and Brams elephant show and Eurekas castle. Its the first shows I remember watching.
Kid: ANYTHING on Nickelodeon (Doug, Rugrats, Salute, GUTS!) and also Clarissa Explains It All!!!
Me: 30; DH: 32
Married since 3/15/08.
Pregnancy 1: BFP on 1/24/11 - Molly born on 10/6/11!
Pregnancy 2: BFP on 11/5/14 - Baby #2 due on 7/17/15!
In between pregnancies, I've grown to love my "other" baby. The "carb baby", that's taken permanent residence in my belly, thanks to my overzealous love of bread, pasta and pastries. Hence my name.
As a preschooler, I was obsessed with David the Gnome. I had all the figurines too. I had several of the earliest Barney videos on VHS. Later, I mostly remember watching the Nick shows like Doug, Rugrats, Salute Your Shorts, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, etc. I know I watched Gummi Bears, Duck Tales, Allegra's Window, Eureka's Castle, Lamb chop, the Elephant Show, Gullah Gullah Island and others mentioned, mainly because I can still sing theme songs. Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, etc. were discouraged in my house.
I also had a fondness for the nerdy shows everyone pretended to hate, Wishbone, Magic School Bus, Reading Rainbow.
Around age 9 I fell in love with Zach Morris. I'm sure I've seen every episode multiple times. I also loved Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Growing Pains, and, bizarrely, The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie. Ooh, and Rescue 911 and America's Funniest Home Videos with Bob Saggat.
We had the best TV.
I loved Muppet Babies. I think that's where I learned everything about Star Wars because the actual movies went over my head. When I was older Are You Afraid of the Dark? It holds up pretty well too. DH and I have the first season on DVD.
The only things my kids watch now that I did are like Christmas specials. Rudolph, Frosty, Mickey's Christmas Carol.
Allegra's Window Eureka's Castle Gullah Gullah Island Under the Umbrella Tree
Also @Pixiepink24, I don't remember a Hugga Bunch show, but I watched the Hugga Bunch movie all the time like even until I was in middle school. The movie was totally weird, now that I think about it.
