N14 Disney World trip?

Does this make anyone else really sad that our babies will not be "babies" at Disney? I mean 3yrs is not that far away. I'm SO emotional today. Sorry ladies!

@silverwings72‌ --there's a lot of guy characters, especially lately. All the princes, woody, buzz, Flynn rider, Gaston, Olaf, Christopher Robin, Jack-Jack, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee, Pinocchio, etc.

I read they discontinued this because so many people were doing it the costumes started to age before their time

They weren't supposed to be doing it to begin with. Someone asked the characters to do it for a photo op, they posted it on reddit, and it became a thing. Alas, it is no more!

I'll be lame and claim Luke Skywalker for... You guessed it, Luke. The "Luke, I am your ________" jokes are already getting old. However, DH and I already decided that this Halloween he will be Darth Vader, I will be Padme, and Luke will be Luke Skywalker!

I would love to go. Maybe my SIL will have a job there again in 3-4 years. She worked there the summer before last in one of the restaurants. Ever since she has been hoping to get a princess job. She has gone to several auditions.

It's been a crazy day so I'm not going to lie, I'm commenting after only reading through the first page...

I love the idea of right now because I really would love to meet all my N14 mamas! But with the cost of the trip and the difficulty of getting care for the pets (pups mostly) I voted 3-4 years.

Alright ladies, so it's looking like 3-4 years it is. I'm thinking that we're going to have to do summer since we have so many teachers (how does June 2018 sound?) and stay at one of the value resorts (like Art of Animation or Pop Century) because they're both kid and wallet friendly. Any objections or suggestions?

I have a family of four. My DH and I, DD#1 will be 5 yrs old and LO will be 3 years old if we do June 2018.
Looks like we might need a spreadsheet for this!
