This has got to be a JRT thing. Chewy is the biggest klutz sometimes. One time when she was little she flung herself off the couch and went face first into the solid wood coffee table. She knocked out one of her puppy teeth. *smh*

That cracks me up. I have so many stories like that of Chevy. But the one that I will always remember is, right after we had gotten him. We were outside and he was running fullspeed to go inside. Well we have a glass storm door.... So my crack baby as I like to call him takes a leap, and when I say leap I mean LEAP at the door to go in and smacks his face right on the glass door. How he didn't break anything I have no idea.

Yea... Chewy now has this fear of our friends' sliding glass door. The first time we were there I opened it to walk through, she tried to run (full tilt) through right next to me and slammed into the glass. Poor doggies don't understand glass very well. Although one thing I'll say for her - she usually only has to learn a lesson like that once.

Now Fozzie... he's a little slower to learn. Poor dude still tries to stick his face in the oven if I open it.

Yes, it only took Chevy once to learn to wait for me to open that door.

That literally just made me LOL. I'm glad my boss had just walked away so I didn't have to explain what I was laughing about. What made him want to stick his head in the oven to begin with??

These are my fur babes Caffrey and Riley. Caffrey is the black and white. He's gonna be 4 at the end of March and was the first pet DH and I had together. Caffrey came a year later and will be 3 in the middle of March. He's the Merle. They are both from the same breeder- both Mini Aussie Doodles. They are such love bugs and have such smart personalities. Caffrey especially loves to stare into your eyes for an uncomfortable amount of time. It's like he's human...but not... :o3

@shinyredsmartazz‌, sorry your dogs have lost it. How long has it been since you moved? Maybe it's just them Acclimating?

I envy everyone their labs, I would love to get a lab but DH is allergic. We will probably go for a poodle mix or pug(MH would deal with his allergies if we could have a pug, that's how much he loves the breed) mix. Everyone's pets are adorable! MH & I no longer have pets, we figure we will wait until after we think we are done having kids

But in the mean time I dogsit for my parents whenever they are out of town.

This is Dia, she's a pit/lab mix we (I with the assistance of my brother, sister, and parents) adopted when she was 1 or 2. She is scared of other dogs (we have no backstory on her as she was found wandering a parking lot) but loves people once they are sitting on the couch with her.

@MrsEmuTavi‌ I have terrible allergies especially to pets. That's why we got the Aussie Doodles. I don't have any problems with them and they don't shed. I don't know where in the US you are but if you are ever looking for a good but inexpensive breeder I have one in Ohio I could share the contact info of. I'm glad you get some occasional puppy love with your parents dog. Dia is really cute.

This is my big boy Diesel. He is a pure bred English Bulldog. In true bulldog fashion he passes gas, snores, breathes very heavy and is the most stubborn dog in the world. That said, he is the most gentle and loving beast. He is 11 months (will be having a puppy party later this month) we are so in love.

My chocolate lab Bailey and my OAF of a lap dog Cane Corso named Titus I also have 3 fishies and a snail named Chupacabra, Obama, Charlemagne, and Garlic Butter who DH say I love more than normal for aquatic pets.

This is the 'smile' I get at least twenty times a day! This is my five year old beagle mix Lolly Pop! She's the light of my life though everybody I know is so annoyed by her. She's my baby!

This is my Motley boy. He is 10 years young and I rescued him from the shelter about 6 years ago. He is 140lbs of pure love. He loves his stuffed duck and to just be by your side.

This is Gizmo my little Pomeranian. He is 2 and we have had him since he was 6 weeks old. Never had been a little dog fan until I got this little guy. He seriously is my side kick. He is only allowed bones due to him thinking he can eat everything and be fine.

Harley is the black and white, he is 6 months old. Annie is a year and a half. Both Aussies, but really different lines. Harley will be 50-70 lbs, whereas Annie is about 30. And she's not a mini, just small haha. They're a fun bunch.

We had our rats trained to return to the couch on command. We would let them roam the living room, dining room, and kitchen freely. I miss them sooo much. Our last passed November 2013 after a long series of bad seizures. I figure they are over the rainbow bridge chewing on remote controls and stealing Snickers.

This is my precious Lucy. She was the first cat I've ever loved more than a dog. She listens and comes on command. She is loud when you come home and wants to be held. She is a bit over a year, we are not quite sure her true age because she came from a barn on my friends farm. When we rescued her, she had a severe respiratory infection and sounded like she had very little use of her lungs. I don't think she would have survived much longer in the cold so I am so grateful to have her inside.

I'm on mobile, so I apologize for the second post.

Trigger is our black lab coon hound that is asleep on my legs. His first parents got a divorce and his first dad couldn't keep him, we rescued him 3 months and 3 days ago. He is also just over a year.

Izzy (Isabel) our mastiff came from someone's home downstate. She rescued two mastiffs who were abused and they accidentally got out together and one thing lead to another and 10 puppies later we got our baby girl Isabel. We had to leave her with my parents when my husband and I rented an apartment. So she got very attached and still lives there with my other dogs from growing up.

We have two dogs and two cats. The dogs are going to be three in March and they are brothers. I am so glad that DH convinced me to get two dogs at the same time. I only wanted one originally. They are inseparable and it is just the sweetest thing. Nugget is the smaller of the two, and Chunkers is the bigger silver one. We also have two cats one who I have had since before DH, his name is char and he is 6 or 7. We also have a kitten that we just adopted a couple months ago, whose name a Penelope. She is the spawn of Satan's cat I swear... Poor Char is constantly getting attacked (ps @rayschicky my cat's full name is Prince Charlemagne!)

We have three cats. Jeb is my siggy and is DHs cat. He wakes me up every morning for breakfast and will be 10 in March. Maggie is my cat who is sweet when she wants something and looooves to eat. She's 5ish. Butters is "ours" and we got him in August. He turned 1 this month.

Awwww what kind of hound is Ajax? My Trigger is Redbone Coonhound Lab mix and looks similar!
