Can I be nosy (please don't hate me! I still am mad at my BIL for asking this question when we announced LO) and ask if you were trying? I cant remember if you talked about wanting a close spacing in any of the other threads.
A crazy part of me is jealous.
Haha, I don't hate you at all! Ask away!
We weren't trying per se, but we weren't not trying. I did want them close together, but I didn't really think it'd happen this soon, since I hadn't even gotten my period back yet. Then when I read that the first few periods are often anovulatory, I thought it'd be at least a few more months. But yeah, I did want close spacing and I was off birth control.
Now here's hoping my uterus doesn't explode.
I'm being featured in a new pregnancy/motherhood blog during the month of October, so if you ever wanted to know more about my pregnancy, birth, and motherhood experiences than anyone ever should, check out my posts in the link below!

Glad you don't hate me! I have just been dying to ask that question and I couldn't hold back anymore!
I just cant imagine doing pregnancy all over again so soon. I think my brain would explode. You are a stronger lady than I!
Stay stay stay and feel free complain away!!!!
I'm sure you'll hear a lot of people say.. "You're crazy".
When I got pregnant with DD 15 years after my daughter was born everyone in my life was so annoyingly pessimistic. "Can't believe you gonna have a baby again! That's crazy".
I felt like saying biotch you're sucking joy out of me.
Just give them side eye and keep on smiling
My brother and I are 15 years apart (I was an ooops baby...my parents didn't think they could get PG) and we are thick as thieves; but my parents got all kind of slack from their friends when I came along. My mom said it was cool to have 2 "only" children.
On the other end of the spectrum...CONGRATS jenniferurs!!!! I'm SO happy for you and your family! Jealous/Not Jealous here; couldn't really wrap my head around another pregnancy/birth since is screwed my health/body up so bad, but another beautiful baby wouldn't be so terrible!
Congrats! I'm half jealous, but more excited! I really want another, but not quite yet. My brother and I were a year and a half apart, and we were really close. Best of luck!
I was so hoping to have babies back to back by DH said no (not even financial reasons he just said he wasn't ready ) ;( damn him lol... Congrats to you though...
I am an Irish Twin and it was/is awesome. Although in HS I found it strange that people thought I would go to the same college and major in the same topic as my older sister. Other than both being in the band we had completely different interests. The little voice in my head would say, "you do know we are different people, right?".
I hope you stick around @jenniferurs because I want to know how it all goes. Plus you make this place much more lively.
Thanks! I definitely will!

CONGRATULATIONS!!
I'm super jealous and hope to be able to live vicariously through you on the bump until I am "cleared" to start trying again... Damn c-section
I actually had a c-section too. When I asked my OB, out of curiosity, when I could try again post c-section, she said 3 months. But please pray for my uterus nonetheless.

Congratulations!! I have a lot of respect for anyone who has kids that close together (my dad and his siblings are all just over a year apart, so I guess it worked well enough for my grandparents), but it's definitely not for me.
I have to admit I hadn't even opened this thread because it never occurred to me that it was a birth announcement! I just saw your post about morning sickness so I had to go looking for where you said it!
My mom said her pregnancy with me was completely different than the other two so she was convinced I was a boy, so here's to hoping your vomiting is normal this time around!
We are expecting like stated in previous post. Congrats, don't know if you are nervous as I am for my two will be about 12 months if not about 11 half months.
