  I would go with baby and the 4 year old in the middle and the 6 and 2 year old in the way back. The spacing would then allow both older children to help out if needed.

  I would put whoever is the hardest to buckle in the middle row (i'm guessing baby and 2 year old)

  This is exactly what my friend with 4 does.  The big kids in the way back and the babies in the middle.
  

  DD~6 years old~born June 6, 2008 (1st grade)

  Older kids in the way back - because you've got to (wrangle) travel more with the younger kids solo than the older kids all in the at once...

  @nicoleWI are you a fan of the Honda Odyssey? We're getting a new car soon and I want something practical but still nice, would you recommend it?

  Summerfunxo I know you didn't ask me but I hate my honda ody. 2008 it drives terrible in the snow and everything is going to shit on it.

  I plan to put the older 2 in the back when we get our Odyssey this year and put the littlest in the middle. Probably right next to each other with that extra seat to fold up to get in and out of the back. Does it work like that? ! We have to look still.
