  • I love the weird poops lol, wish I had one to share haha!

@mrskblack11‌ good luck with your A/S scan today, I have mine today too!

No real symptoms plaguing me besides annoyance at having to do anything outside of bed today lol. The movements have been getting stronger this week though and I love to feel the little squirms, kicks, and punches that are picking up in intensity!

Emotions have been raging, and this week so much sadness has been happening around me and I can't help but feel despair at what some people are experiencing right now. A friend of mine almost lost her 4 year old son to an appendix rupture over Xmas and that has been such a scary ride. And the wonderful ladies here who are experiencing losses and hardships, as well. My heart is just soaking wet. Uncontrollable tears are flowing as I type. ❤️
  • I'm also getting a chuckle at the weird poops!

Just some back pain leftover from the road trip last week, and I've found that I need to eat smaller meals more frequently bc I'm getting full more quickly. I finally slept 6 straight hrs without waking up last night too! (first time in a month??). Woo!

  • I've been having the worst time sleeping. I fall asleep just fine and then wake up around 2-3ish, and I'm generally awake (tossing and turning, trying to get comfortable, or just laying there thinking,) until DH gets up for work at 5:30. These past few nights I've felt sick when I wake up so I've had to get up and eat, which has certainly helped.... I just wish I could make it all the way through the night.

    Does anyone have this problem/solutions?

  • Good luck to the ladies getting the A/S scans today! I can't wait for mine next week :-) I think I have felt some flutters going on in there, but nothing definite yet, so anxiously waiting! Working from home today and thankful since it's snowing outside. Might try to walk on the treadmill at lunch, hoping my back dosen't bother me too much so I can get back to exercising.

Yesterday was the first day that I cut caffeine out of my diet completely and filled up on water throughout the day. Last night was the first night I've made it through the entire night without waking.  Do you drink caffeine?  If you do, maybe try to wean off of it?

  • Ahh I read and get nervous... my symptoms have faded away except I made Tacos last night and was excited then as soon as I made a plate I got sick. I think I feel flutters but I'm a FTM so I have no idea if its just gas lol. Back pain off and on but that's it. Should I be worried?

  • Weird poops- HAHA! I love you ladies!

Well, at 17w3d its official, I can no longer sleep on my tummy. I was hoping Sunday night was just a fluke, but I was uncomfortable every time I flipped over on my stomach last night, as well. I've got to learn to start spooning the body pillow now, since that hour or so I did this morning before the alarm went off was some of the best sleep I got. I guess with everything else being so quiet down there, it's a little bit of reassurance that everything's still growing and progressing.

Yoga was a little harder today. I struggled to get into some of the positions because it was squishing my tummy. Being overweight pre-pregnancy, I wasn't sure how my uterus and all growing would effect me compared to regular girls. Like, if since I was already pretty squishy it would take longer to get uncomfortable on my stomach or when bending over, things like that. It's like a bizarre little science experiment.

@elbowpasta I haven't been sleeping for crap this week. More so than any other week so far. I've learned to except getting up 25456313 time per night, but this shallow/restless sleep is nonsense!

I have my 16 week checkup tomorrow, I'm excited. Hopefully she can find the little pickle with the Doppler this time. A/S is a week from tomorrow. Good luck to all the A/S'ers today! And I'm with you guys; it's been a hard week on the June15 board. My heart definitely goes out to everyone who is suffering right now.

  • Nothing exciting going on here! I can't wait to feel flutters or movement of any type. I've been having major back pain on my lower right side. It's becoming highly annoying.
  • I don't know what this whole "second tri energy" thing is...I'm still so exhausted. I actually was on call for the hospital last night and slept through TWO phone calls calling me in as well as my husband's alarm this morning. I'm the lightest sleeper on earth too. So embarrassed that they really needed me and I didn't come in.

Very anxious for my AS tomorrow. Not finding out the sex but really anxious for a healthy baby/placenta/cervix. I see so much bad stuff daily regarding pregnancy daily at work that I'm just in a constant state of worry. A good scan tomorrow will ease that a bit.

Hoping all your guys weird poops (ha) subside!!

Nope... 1st Tri sodas/coffee made me sick, so I quit, and now any amount of caffeine just makes my heart race. I get so anxious! No caffeine for me. :disappointed:

  • I am walking around with a huge lump in my throat thinking about all the June mamas in limbo right now. I want to cry and give them all real hugs, do more than typing to them and praying for them, it feels so detached. Otherwise, I'm just at home, my current itchy, hungry self...with a kid who woke up with a fever and cough. I knew he was screwed when my niece was diagnosed. Hoping he can stay out of the hospital, but flu + severe asthma = really bad. I guess it at least means extra snuggle and nap time with him, right?
Oh no! Sending all the best to your little one! And you're right, I totally wish there was more that I can do other than sending you and everyone else my words.

@mrskblack11‌ and @KimberlyandThor2014‌ good luck at your scans today!

I had to stop sleeping on my stomach at 12 weeks. It just didn't feel comfortable anymore and it almost made me feel queazy if that makes sense. I kept trying it out for a new nights and it just wasn't working. No big deal I have my best buddy snoogle so I deal with a nice curled up in ball position on my side all cozy. NOPE. As of last night I officially can't get away with that any more either. So I'm feeling all "Ricky Bobby: I don't know what to do with my hands" about sleeping right now. Every position I try out feels foreign and weird and I don't like it.

I like to picture Jesus as a figure skater. He wears like a white outfit, and he does interpretive ice dances of my life's journey.

    I freaking LOVE that movie!!
  • Feeling pretty good today. I had a lot of stretching and round ligament pain last night. Maybe I will pop soon, almost 17 weeks. I am at the point were I am visable rounder but not yet "looking pregnant." People who know I am pregnant can tell, but to everyone else I just look chubby. Not too great for my self esteem, but I will just have to get over it!

Are you worried from a lessening of symptoms or lack of discernible movement yet? Either way it's normal for certain symptoms to lessen in second tri.

June 29 would make you about 15 weeks, right? I wouldn't worry at all about lack of movement yet...it's still early and it does makes sense that FTMs can sometimes take longer to feel/recognize it. It's always different for everyone, and every pregnancy. I am almost at 19 weeks, STM, and it's only been this past week/week and a half that my movements have been definite and fully noticeable. Try and keep your mind at ease! :)
  • My 15 week mark is today and feeling good. Although I watched the bump video for this week and she said its average of 5 lbs weight gain. I've gained 10. Freaking fantastic! Gotta get some healthier foods to munch on. Hard when I work at Olive Garden and all I eat is their food. Ugh
  • I still haven't felt any movement.  I'm a ftm with an anterior placenta so I'm not stressing too much about it yet.  Everything looked great at our anatomy scan on the 30th so I just keep telling myself that.  I have sciatica on my left side and major lower back pain on my right side which comes and goes.  My sister told me it could be muscle separation so that sounds like fun.  I keep thinking my little monster is kicking me in the back and I just can't feel the individual movements ha!  I told his dad he is just like him, a pain in my butt but also makes me super happy.

I wake up every night around 4.  This was fine on vacation but now I am back at work it sucks a lot since I get up at 6.  Otherwise I'm mostly in limbo.  I was really tired yesterday and still am today but this last weekend I had tons of energy so who knows.  Happy to still be here, sure would love to feel some movement soon.  :(

  • Almost 19 weeks, and this cold I've had dince christmas seems to be almost over. Coughed until i puked again this morning though.
It's been getting more and more uncomfortable to sit at my desk all day. I try to get up & do a lap around the office every hour or so, but honestly the only comfortable position is reclining in my desk chair.
I made the mistake of having spicy food for dinner last night. Heartburn city and pooping hurt this morning.

I'm getting very close. I've been fudging it by putting a pillow under one side so I'm on my stomach at a tilt. I figure maybe I can ease myself into sleeping on my side. I hope so, my shoulders get all wonky when I side-sleep, so hopefully this makes them better at it.

Good luck at your appointment! This sad, sad week is making me nervous about mine Thursday. I just want to give the love to everyone.

  • I am FINALLY feeling some very questionable movement. It's nothing that I'm certain is the baby yet, but at least it's something. I have an appointment on Thursday and I'll be 19 weeks. I will also be scheduling my anatomy scan, which I'm really excited and nervous for. We are team green, so I'm most excited to make sure everything looks good and that baby is growing well. I didn't get any genetic testing or an NT scan, and part of me regrets it. I'm worried something will be wrong at the anatomy scan. I don't remember feeling this way at all with DS.

My acne has been much better lately, but of course I accidentally scratched my chin with my nail, so I'm still looking all hit up.

@KimberlyandThor2014‌ thanks for the feedback, sometimes my anxiety kicks in and I start over thinking. We go Monday for an appointment so im anxious to hear the heart beat!

  • Weird pregnancy symptom I didn't expect: nosebleeds. Not terrible... my nose isn't gushing blood uncontrollably. But for the past few weeks, every time I blow my nose, it's bloody. I've read this is normal (increased blood flow in the body and all that), so I'm not worried, just never heard any of my pregnant friends talk about it before.

Also, it's getting harder to sit on hard surfaces (the floor, or a bad chair) without my back starting to hurt pretty quickly. That's new for me. I've been doing some purging/organizing in a couple rooms and sat on the floor for a bit to sort through piles and got really uncomfortable.
  • I'm actually feeling pretty good today! Miracle! But I go to the dentist tomorrow and I'm scared I'll puke all over them and scared I'll have a zillion cavities.
But I'm also being one of those annoying FTMs and like WHERE IS MY BUMP!! Even though I only just hit 15 weeks today.
  • @joyfuljenny‌ I had the nosebleeds with DS and they are worse this time around...started around 2nd tri both times. I often have to blow my nose to get the scabs/dried blood out because it is really irritating. Last time my doc or nurse said putting a tiny bit of Vaseline in the nostril will help, and I remember it helping, but haven't tried it this time for some reason :-/
I get them, too. Neosporin also helps. And a humidifier!

I have exactly the same thing, it takes me hours to fall back to sleep sometimes. Plus my dog always encroaches on my sleeping space every time I get up to pee/eat or turn over. Damn his cute little snores and cuddliness!

This is more of a complaint than a symptom but dangit I need to complain!

I'm wearing a pair of pants that seemed totally fine when I put them on this morning. Now that I'm at work, they are wait too tight on my belly so I've folded the front over so they are under my belly and I'm soooo uncomfortable X( . I want to take my pants off. I repeat, I want to take my pants off! But I'm at work and that will not only get me fired, but it would also be really weird.

This is precisely the reason I caved and bought my first pair of maternity jeans this past Thursday. I'm making skirts and leggings work Mon-Thur, but when we can wear jeans on Friday, I was the same as you. Perfectly fine in the morning, and by early afternoon I was begging people with my eyes to please cut my pants off of me. Wore the maternity jeans the first time Friday and it was amazing. Go get a pair of maternity pants, your life will change and be filled with glitter rainbows and unicorns, they are that amazing!

Peed when I coughed the other day...but I was in the shower so HOORAY! Crisis averted. I can only cough while in the shower.

  • @finchfeeder80 Oh yeah I have a pair of maternity jeans and a pair of maternity leggings but I hadn't been to work in about 2 weeks and it hadn't been a problem since I've been wearing a lot of dresses and making my regular pants work. Well the belly has apparently gotten bigger in the past 2 weeks. I ordered a couple pairs of pants yesterday from Old Navy and I can't wait for them to get here! I'll probably go to Target at lunch today too to see if I can find something more comfortable to wear for the rest of the day.

But really, maternity or not I wish I never had to wear pants now that I'm pregnant. My H is pretty supportive of my no-pants policy around the house at least!

  • @schnurette I've fallen victim to a little leak recently while coughing too hard as well. I wish it only happened in the shower. I can't wait for this cough to go away. Pregnancy just makes having a cold that much more unpleasant!

  • I'm having a tough day. Heartbroken over the June mamas having a tough time and my mom is in the middle of a 9 hour surgery and I'm far away. Heading up to visit her with dd next week. Other than that, having lots of headaches. Feeling kinda funky and I think it's bloat/constipation...so "weird poops" over here I suppose! Haha. Waiting to feel more movement. I felt it once a few days ago. I'm almost certain it was baby and I'm so ready for that reassurance.
