With all that being said u can kiss my ass way goes on with yu is your buisness while all yall trying to critisize me for asking this question just know its a good reason I'm asking this that I don't have to explain to y'all ignorant dumb asses.
I'm Ftm 35weeks +3 I was wondering if I could ask my doctor at my next appointment to be induced at 39weeks
So you're being selfish while there are several of us with preterm babies in the NICU and many others fighting to keep our babies in the full 40 (including myself trying to cope with knowing I'll be lucky to make it 3 more weeks). Yeah, that should go over really well for you here.
So, hello and goodbye. You won't last long in this group.
On another note, It's come to my attention with all of the "recent" posts I have no idea what QFP means. @crispywheats? @CogDis? @chicagojackie? Anyone?

Hmm... If the ladies here are ignorant dumbasses, then what does it say about the person who came out of nowhere, to an internet forum to ask a bunch of internet strangers for medical related advice?
@LeilaniMommy Bye. Lmfao. What did you expect?! And if you "have a good reason" for this question then your OB would have already talked to you about induction. If they haven't then it's not a "good reason". A doctor knows what they're doing. If it was medically necessary then they would've already brought it up. I'm not sure you should be calling everyone ignorant because that reeks of irony. )
If you're going to try to insult people.. Um can you at least learn spelling, grammar, and correct punctuation? Also don't come to a public forum asking for advice and expect to get rainbows and butterflies for answers. Now bye Felicia! :-B
A)what @HayleyBug55 said "if it was a good reason your dr would have already spoken to you"
B ) I've had a preemie and it's not a freaking walk in the park. You are probably thinking "so they stay in the hospital a little bit or I'll bring home a tiny cute baby" WTF Ever!! So not true.
C) my DS had a 1.5 month stay, had iv's in his foot, hand, even his head at one point bc their veins can only take them for so long. He had jaundice really bad. Talking a billi blanket and 3 lights. Severe apnea spells to where we were testing for seizures. He was intubated twice and never on room air until 6 months of age.
D) when he was finally released he came home on oxygen, an apnea monitor, special formula (@ almost 20.00 a can), an iron medicine, .08mg of caffeine, 3 acid reflux meds that had to be given before or after feedings. And did I mention bc of those meds his feedings were every 2-4 hours 24/7?? I was up 24/7 feeding, changing, or bathing him bc of the reflux etc. it's hard and sent me into a depression. I had ZERO help from my ex-husband or his family.
So @LeilaniMommy yeah go ahead and say F-@* you to moms who've been to the NICU and want to save your kid just bc "your uncomfortable". I've been on freaking bedrest since NOVEMBER so I won't have another NICU experience. I have no sympathy for you at all!!
Edit because I forgot to add this part: The oxygen and apnea monitor were with us 24/7 until he was 6 months old. That means no shopping trips without the diaper bag, meds, clothes, apnea monitor, a full bottle of oxygen on him, and making sure there was a spare in the car. Think I went anywhere?? EVER???
Obviously you didn't read what I wrote or you're incapable of understanding it. Perhaps what @mom2xover2002 wrote makes it a little more f-ing clear as to why you're post is hurtful and insensitive. I can't believe *you* are calling people ignorant. Wow!

Thanks @CogDis! And for the record OP if what I said didn't bother you shall I get my aunt to write me about her 2 NICU stays? Or all the from the NICU nurses I know about the families they take care of?
You all said the doctor would only do an early induction for very specific reasons. Would a kick ass Super Bowl party be a good enough reason? I REALLY like the Panthers and might ask my doctor to induce me if they make it to the Super Bowl.
@ChickenOnSunday of course, that is a TOTES legitimate reason! Especially if you invite the doctor to your Super Bowl party.
That and I really want a good beer. Sounds legit to me!

Only if you have an awesome super bowl party at the hospital.
