Is it against TOU to say this post combined with @snowbigdeal 's comment made me laugh harder than anything else today? (Maybe even this week. It's been a particularly shitty week.) I'm not trying to be mean at all. It actually brightened my day.
I don't know if I can play, they start counting early and technically I'm pregnant for 10 months so I have no idea how many months I am. OP can you please be more inclusive and add an SS option, this post makes me feel sad and I plan to cry.
You are only pregnant 9 months. A month is 4.3 weeks not 4. So it's only 9.
Just stopping by to say that no one here is seven months pregnant yet. You are IN your seventh month, but considered six months pregnant until you complete your seventh month.
Thank you! I am due 4/4 and consider myself six months pregnant because I have completed six months and I have three months left.
A few weeks ago someone who was 23 weeks along was referring to herself as being 7 months pregnant, I wanted to dig up your chart, @SharkFarts . I don't mind rounding up to the next week, but people who exaggerate that much are just lying.

This chart is terrifying because it's a reminder I'm in the third tri already
I just said to my DH a minute ago--OMG...I'll be in my third trimester next week. Shit just got real.

I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow with an EDD of 4/7, so I'm in my 7th month, but not "7 months pregnant"?

Correct, just like when you're baby is born s/he will be in his/her first year, but not one year old yet.
Definately! According to the chart 28 weeks lies between 27-30 week which means you have entered 7th month. So I never said I have completed my 7th month or whatsoever.

You asked if 28 weeks was the same thing as 7 months... which it isnt. Use the quote box so we know who you're replying to.
Even I know 28 weeks doesnt mean that you have completed 7 months but it means u have enetered 7 months. Thats what I meant

By my math, 7 mos pregnant is EDD on/around 3/15. "in 7th month" at weeks 27-30 (EDDs 3/17 to 4/7).
Either way, that excludes anyone here with an EDD after 4/7...
Have fun with this one guise.... I don't qualify to participate w/ an EDD 4/21.
ETA: "In the 7th month" means the approx. 4 weeks leading up to being 7 months. You are 7 months pregnant at the END of those weeks.
Same thing with years.
Say for example you are 25 years old. Between the days of your 25th birthday and your 26th birthday, you are "in your 26th year." At the END of your 26th year is when you are 26 years old.
Make sense?
This is my math. I am 6.3 months pregnant, in my 7th month, 28 2/7 weeks. This is because once I hit "9 months", I better get a baby, not another 4 weeks of pregnancy.
Ovia is still telling me I'm in my 2nd trimester at 27w4d. What gives? Will it be when it turns to week 28? Am I doing it wrong?
I feel like different sites measure it differently. The dreaded BC measures it at 28w as well. Even though mathematically, 40/3 means that it starts at 27.

He just said duh.
Ditto. Friday I start third tri, too..... definitely starting to panic now because we still have a TON to get done before baby girl arrives.
