Sucess with poor quality blastocysts?

Hello girls ! I hope you all are doing well! I have a question and the infertility board is not the place to ask as most there have not had sucess. I hope you ladies can help me out. I have had 4 IVF cycles and only one transfer that didnt work. I have frozen blasts and they are all poor quality. 3AB and the rest are 4CC. I am wondering if there is any point to even try with my poor blast babies. I feel like I should give them all a chance, but I don't want more failure. It's heartbreaking. I don't know if I should try to cycle again after 3 months of trying to improve egg quality or if I should transfer my blasts. Has anyone had success with quality this poor?

    I don't have any advice or success stories for your situation, but I just wanted to wish you the best.  FX for you.

    My clinic won't freeze blasts with a grade less than AA or AB, so I don't have any FET experience (between my cycles, I lost a dozen or so blasts due to that requirement). But, with my successful cycle, I had two "fair" quality blasts. One was BB when we got to the clinic and upgraded to AB when they pulled it- honestly, I think they just told me that to stop my sobbing. The other blast had just transitioned from morula and was so far behind in development, they couldn't even grade it. Being that my first cycle failed with a textbook perfect, AA blast, I had little hope that cycle would take. But, those embryos became my perfect twin boys.

    I don't know if that story helps at all, but sending you lots of positive thoughts for clarity in making decisions for future cycles! GL!

    Are you able to genetically test your embryos for viability?

    Just a thought though I do not know if you can do that once they are frozen?

    With my terrible quality cycle I didn't have any to freeze, but put back 2 crappy ones and got a son so it's possible. I don't have any FET knowledge though. Best of luck with whatever path you choose, it's never an easy decision. Hugs to you!

    This!  She posts over on the multiple boards.  I remember she was 100% convinced that her cycle was a bust... and now she has beautiful twin girls!

    Hello-- you never know what enbryo will become a baby!! My twins are 7 wks old today. They were the 15&16th embryos I transferred over almost 4 years. Both girls were day 6 blasts but one wasn't even "advanced" enough to get a grade for inner cell mass and trophectoderm. It was listed simply as "early blast". In fact she was a crappy 4 cell "C" (d being the worst) on day 3. I'm holding her right now! I was mad the embryologist froze her. Good thing he saw something in that embryo. So you just never know!! I rolled my eyes at these stories until it happened to me. Good luck :-)
