I love regional terminology comparisons! OK, followup question for those who call (what we call) maple bars, long johns. What do you call long underwear? Do you also call those long johns?

Bavarian creme donuts FTW!

I have serious trust issues from biting into too many chocolate glazed donuts and either finding NO creme or even WORSE whipped cream!!!

My definition of a Long John is that there is some kind of filling in the middle, be it frosting, cream, or Bavarian custard.

I think they are different. Boston creme is lighter. (In my head)

I think Bavarian is more of a custard.
