  Kinley sounds like a perpetual child name to me. I can't imagine a professional 40 yo with the name Kenley or Kensie.

  The poor woman made a board specifically called "K" Names Help! Not please tell me what I should make my username or what do you think of the names of my current children. I understand it's an open forum for opinions, and my point here is NOT to stifle anyone's. Maybe it's just my newfound sensitivity that's coming along this pregnancy but you guys are coming across as a bit mean. So just lend a hand on the "K" names or move on to another board. Were all in this together.

  Okay ladies... here is a culture question. What do you call the donuts pictured in rhe above picture?!?! I grew up call I them Long Johns. When I told H that is what I wanted he had no clue what I was talking about!

  I call them maple sticks, but have definitely heard long johns. I bought one on Saturday and went to eat it this morning and DH had eaten it! When I asked him about it he said he didn't like it. Well where did the whole dang donut go then!

  I don't think I've ever seen those. Looks like a glorious, fluffy bed of sugar coma. Long Johns are warm underwear... and a seafood fast food chain?

  I've always called them Long Johns. As far as I recall that's what Tim Hortons labels them as. I'll check tomorrow on my drive to town (aka 4.5hr quest for donuts) and report back with the correct Tim's term.

  @amc2511 NOTHING is better than a cinnamon sugar cake donut. Preferably from an apple orchard in the fall. Although I do accept Krispy Kreme as a substitute the other 11 months of the year.
