I know that LO should not be watching TV or anything of the sort, but cutest thing ever. I was FaceTimeing with H, (he left Dec 27 after being home for 3 days) LO was sitting in my lap and he started cooing in response to H and everything he said. He was smiling and giggling! Cutest thing ever and I'm sure it made Hs day. He misses LO so much.

I am not letting LO watch TV.... But I do let her FaceTime... It's not exactly the same (at least in my mind)

ETA; my sister lives in Scotland and won't see L again until June at the earliest

Im so excited right now, LO just put himself to sleep!!! I put him in his pnp while he was still wide awake and he settled right in and out like a light!!!!!

Not at all! I wouldn't be willing to share either. I think in the first season they all lived in one house too. I need my space and alone time. There would be ZERO in that family/lifestyle.

I've read 2 books about girls that escaped. One was favorite wife and I can't remember the other. They are really good eye openers into that culture and way way sad what they go thru/miss out on.

I don't watch revenge but I'm ready for Parenthood to come back on even though it's the last season

She does get special time. We set aside one day of her weekend to do whatever she wants. We also took her to the beach this past week even though it wasn't our time with her. My best friend went and kept G so we could spend time with her. It is always the same. The jealousy is a little hard to handle.

@oklahomamom09‌ I get the obvious pointed out too lol. And I get it in a special high pitched baby voice. "What's dis whittle baby doin, is her hunnnreee..." Or "whittle G belle is fussin toooooo much". Being a step parent is very special

I love her very much. But on Sunday nights, I drink wine ha!

While I agree I don't want to share DH there are moments where I wouldn't mind if he went and annoyed someone else. Not only would I not want to share my income with 3 other families. If I were the stay at home wife I wouldn't want to take care of all the little kids or deal with homework time after school. (Back when I still watched one stayed home).

No way. I couldn't deal w/ the sex aspect of that at all. Knowing my husband was consistently sleeping w/ (and knocking up) other women. Yikes.

I am guilty of letting her watch some football too. We have Eskimo (CFL) season tickets and we didn't miss a game. (We watched either in the stands or on tv all season) I can't wait to take her to the games next season.

I dated a guy (briefly) who was into polyamory. He "married" two other women on a reality tv show and they later left him to be with just one another (peeshes before peens)

I know all this bc I'm still friends with him and one of his wives on fbook (they were just too interesting and dramatic to unfriend!)

I find the concept of polygamy/polyamory so fascinating but could never do it myself. Especially seeing the people who really do believe in it end up so miserable.

Guilty. We actually ate dinner together, in one sitting, and while it was hot thanks to the playoffs.
Justification: repetition, patterns, and colors. Funny coincidences: she fussed during the first commercial break, but settled down when the game came back on. She rang the bell on her bouncer after a touchdown.

I'm going out on a limb here because I've never experienced either, but I see it similar to communism in that human nature ruins a decent theory.
