Feeling twin movement?

I'm 20w pregnant with di/di twins. I've been feeling Baby A a lot since mid 18th week (u/s this week shows he's lying low across my bladder). DH was able to feel him earlier tonight.

Baby B is up high, lying across (last u/s had him upside down), and I rarely feel him. I'm actually not sure I ever have.

Anyone notice this with twins? Feeling one a lot more or earlier than the other? The radiologist said it was not really that Baby A is more active, he's just in a spot that makes it easier to feel. Still, I want to feel them both! It's the best.

Yes, I am feeling much more on my right side which is Baby A, and even though I have read this is not unusual I was starting to worry just a little bit. However, everything was great at our A/S on Wednesday! Hoping to feel them both equally soon.

I felt baby A more than B around weeks 24-30. Now I feel baby A more in morning and B more in evening, you will feel both of them for sure once they've grown more and you're further along.

My babies were in the same places until about two weeks ago... I have always felt A LOTS more. I actually went to labor and delivery a week ago (at 31 weeks) cause I really hadn't felt B I'm a day. Turned out, he switched to head down and just wasn't feeling him even though I could see him moving on ultrasound. The position makes a huge difference.

This is how I've been all pregnancy, we're convinced that Baby B is going to be the wild one and Baby A will be calm. Even on u/s Baby A will lay there with minimal movement, chilling, while Baby B will try to poke her way into the picture and jitter around like crazy. The u/s tech told us that Baby B would be a dancer, which totally freaked DH out, he clearly took it the wrong way

She also told us it's perfectly normal for one to be more active than the other. I'm curious to see if Baby B will be the more wriggley one when she's born. Maybe they express their little personalities already?

At our birthing class the teacher told us that if we're ever stressed about not feeling movement for a while, best bet is to have a glass of something cold with sugar and caffeine, coke works great, and lie down with hands on belly. It really does work like a charm, they go nuts in there pretty soon after, highly recommend for the stressified moms like myself. Wish I'd known that at 20-something weeks when I'd freak myself out and lay there with my hands on my belly thinking "kick me kick me!!!" I told my mom I couldn't wait till they were born so I could stop worrying like that and she just laughed and laughed...

Thanks for all your stories and advice, ladies! Good to know others have experienced similar differences in movement. When DH was able to feel Baby A for the first time last night, it was just after I drank a cold glass of chocolate milk and ate a chocolate cookie. Maybe that'll be the trick for these boys.

@JennMarie1‌, I wonder the same. Since the first U/S, there has been mention of A being a little devil. Between bouncing and hand movements for him to B's turning upside down with his head turned away (please, no photos...) they do seem different!!

Started feeling movement around 21 weeks. Baby A was always more active. I always said Baby B was going to be my mellow little chica.

Same on the outside too!

Yes, my twins were head down, side by side the entire time. I felt Baby B move MUCH less than her sister. I'm sure it was just the way she was positioned. They are both very active toddler now

Did your doctor/ultrasound tech say anything about your placenta placement? Baby B has an anterior placenta. I have been feeling Baby A for a while and occasionally from Baby B. I was super shocked tonight when I had huge visible kicks from Baby B! I'm 21 weeks so it's just starting to get more consistent since babies are picking up weight. I'll be willing to bet within the next couple of weeks will make a huge difference. Hang in there!

@SassyPants150‌, both placentas are posterior and they are placed like they are laying in bunk beds. I feel better with all the comments that it's common to feel one more than the other and that I'll likely feel more soon. I can't wait to see a visible kick like you mention! I do think Baby B may have caused some hiccups earlier - maybe he was kicking my diaphragm!
