  How do you know that your period is late?  Are you temping?  You may have just ovulated later than normal, in which case your period would not be late.  But if you are curious whether or not you are pregnant, I would suggest a HPT.

  Yes. Something inside of you will freeze if you're also frozen. You could try cryostasis. At least put the whole thing off for a while.
