Re: Saturday Randoms

  • @mander82‌ how many different formulas have you tried? I'm currently in camp "find a formula." We are on Gerber soothe and John was a happier baby on day1 of this. We are at 1wk and now I think some constipation is starting. Ugh. I hate this process as you're not supposed to try more than 1 formula in a week. I just don't know how long to wait it out and see how his bowel patterns continue.

Omg my DS at night pees out of almost every diaper and since he loves to sleep on me we have gone through two PJ changes just today. I don't know what to do because size two diapers are too big and I have tried various brands. Well at least it is baby pee. ;;)

@rinaealy‌ I saw a pp say this, but make sure his penis is pointed down and don't forget to pull out the legs-the meshy stuff on the sides. I had no idea you had to "fluff" diapers until I read it on here.

Thx for the responses I will try this tonight.

My DH has been telling me that at night I need to put DS into his bassinet. The problem with that is I tend to fall asleep while having him on my chest waiting for him to fall asleep. Am I setting myself up for failure when it is time to move him to his crib. I never had this problem with DD I guess I am just a little more tired this time around. Anyone else dealing with this?

I have such high hopes for this formula right now. LO is smiling and cooing in his swing again. Twice in one day to see a happy baby has never happened before. It could just be a fluke and my hopes and dreams could be crushed....but right now I just don't know what to do with this happy little boy!! He spit up a little and didn't even cry....just kept doing what he was doing.
    ****fingers crossed*****

FX it's not a fluke and it's the beginning of a turn around.

  • Ugh we decided after LO shots I'll probably switch to formula because I'm most likely going to have to get some type of job in the next few months (not going back to AT&T cause of the hours and the demand) since the oilfield is slowing down and my FI most likely isn't going to be able to switch jobs to what he was wanting to do that would allow me to stay at home.. Anyways, tonight I decided to give LO a 3 oz bottle before bed in hopes he will sleep longer tonight (we normally give him one in the afternoon) he finished it but didn't fall asleep so I came to rock him and he proceeded to scream bloody murder, wouldn't take a pacifier, wouldn't take the last little bit in the bottle.. He wanted my boob ):

How in the hell am I going to break this :|:(
