Cervical cerclage in September and now a ureteral stent. Anyone else suffering with kidney stones, the excruciating pain of stones passing, and spasms?
Not during my pregnancy right now. September '13 I was in the hospital for a week with kidney stones and kidney infection. It got so bad that the infection spread to my blood. I had a stent put in and eventually passed the stones a week after leaving the hospital. Then I had to get it surgically removed because of crystallizationon in the stent. I could not imagine going through that while pregnant.
@saltyfins I call it how I see. I made that post immediately after I created this one thinking that this was a group of like minded or at least mature women. No support needed I have that at home.
@earthian if this is a PUBLIC forum why again would feeling it out be necessary? Understood some of you have developed "friendship" but everyone has to be a part of the "clique" to post? That's lame. Y'all took over The Bump huh? Lol
Why does it matter who I am if this is a public platform that YOU did not create? Girl get off this post! I don't have time!
1) Public forum, anyone can post on any thread, you don't get to dictate who posts or what they post.
2) Not a good idea to be rude to the established community on said forum if you want to be welcomed or receive answers to your questions.
3) Generally polite to introduce yourself/lurk the board before throwing out random questions. If you had you would have seen that one of our members is currently dealing with kidney stones as well.

You sound suspiciously like one of the posters who was being ridiculous about The Bump on the WTE app the other day. If you are here to start junk, just run on back over there. I tried to explain to you all how easy it is to take five minutes to get a feel for the board before you post. If you want to be obstinate and attempt to prove your ridiculous point, it won't work. Take a look at all of the wonderful threads of support and friendship just on the first page of this board. Your argument is invalid.

A forum is a gathering. Would you go into a random gathering in real life and start talking about yourself without first assessing the situation to determine what is appropriate?
I totally had cookie dough chocolate chip ice cream for lunch today. And just now I had tacos. I'm looking forward to my second bowl of ice cream in the near future. ;;)
Before creating either of my posts I went to the "New? Click here" thread and read the rules. I think a lot of you vets should revisit it. Although "testing the waters" is suggested it is not a rule nor did I come here to stir ish. It seems to have been brought my way. Have a great evening ladies.

Damn that sounds good. Once I get back into town I should go to baskin Robbins and get some. They don't have a drive through baskin Robbins where I am now.

I'm not even talking about the rules. I'm talking about social norms.

We had tacos too! I also made ice cream last night and am trying to hold back until after dinner but my willpower is lacking.

OP, don't listen to the brats on this board. M15 is notorious on TB. I'd try out the April15 board if you're looking for some more valuable feedback. Let them know you were given A hard time over here. Those girls are SUPER welcoming.
In regards to your OP, I would be really careful about the kidney stones. There was a recent case in Uzbekistan where a woman passed what she thought was a kidney stone, but it turned out to be a tooth! She was in the early stages of Collin's Syndrome and was already experiencing the strange cellular growth that comes with the disease. Another poster on this board knows a girl who has Collins Syndrome and she's going in for monthly surgeries to remove the excess hair, tooth, and fingernail froths they've been finding.
Kidney stones are really uncommon during pregnancy, since the hormones your placenta releases actually help dissolve calcifications. So I'd get a second opinion on what's really happening! A lot of OBs are unaware of the more unusual conditions out there, and you should ask your doctor for a consult with a specialist.
Also, what material did they use for your stent? Because there have been rising correlations between rectal prolapse and stents, but only because the body starts to absorb the stent material and then subsequently reject it after baby is born. So I would also talk to your OB about that as well. Are your nipples sore or leaking? That's a symptom of imminent rectal prolapse.
I'm sorry this pregnancy is so hard for you. Good luck!
Thank you @Whitfry! I haven't had any nipple leakage since the stent things have been returning back to normal from what they say at my appointments but I'll will do more research and definitely seek a second opinion.

I think someone suggested cake. Sounds like a good plan.
