There's an owl outside my house. Isn't that bad luck or something?
LO just woke up to eat, I really should have gotten up so I can rock him and he can sleep in his rock and play the rest of the night...instead I'm feeding him in bed. I'm too tired to get up.

I have always had bad allergies, like hay fever, dust, etc. During my pregnancy, they went away completely, but have come back stronger than ever. It's January, but I feel like Spring has sprung in my nose.
Conclusion: I'm allergic to my own kid. Logical assumption, eh?
@zengal - that's crazy! I was just commenting how I have had dreams of all three of my exes. The last one was a nightmare and I woke up really disturbed. I wonder why this is happening??
@KUinCBUS - the first step is admitting you have a problem
@KUinCBUS - I feel your pain. I am still not able to enjoy alot of foods after the surgery. I have been researching different sauces. Since it has been over a month of low fat items, I find that I am preferring these meals to my usual fast food buffet. I had a fries the other night and did not like it at all. I felt like crap after. Also lactose free milk is not bad at all. I have been using this and rice milk since pregnancy. If you like cheese, Cabot is lactose free too. Chicken, fish and turkey are my staples now. I eat tuna sandwiches atleast 2 times a week.
Update on my throat. I called anesthesia and the guy who was on my surgical team told me it is probably viral because everyone on the team has a sore throat. So now I am wondering if they got me sick. Thankful that I can now enjoy tea at least.
Rainy day in Ohio today sitting in a parking lot because I'm early for my hair appointment (left early to have a few more minutes to myself) and jamming to Journey.
I really need to start posting every time I'm up in the night. When people ask me how we slept, I really don't know because I can't remember!!
I woke up in the middle of the night and freaked because I couldn't find Beckham. Guess where he was? In my arms! I felt like an idiot.
Beckham hasn't pooped in a day! I know this is completely normal, but he poops so much!
I hope everyone has a great day filled with non-idiotic SO's:)
He ate at 8 this morning and we have been pacing the floors ever since. He shouldn't be crying, fussing, burping, writhing in pain, etc until his next mealtime.

We have been at the beach all week, head home today. But G has slept through the night most of the week! I wonder if it's the beach air
Sad note, I go back to work Tuesday and it's breaking my heart to even think about. I really wish I could find a way to stay home
Speaking of the devil child...he FINALLY fell asleep. Took him 2 hours of fussing/crying. I have one hour now before he wakes to eat again and we start all over! /emo

Silly question though...can Ems get sick through my breastmilk? I'm constantly hand sanitizing and not getting in her face. I really don't want her to get sick.
In a semi related story, DH was kind enough to take LO at 8am for her first feeding so I could get another hour of sleep, I was up overnight to pump and have a hard time getting back to sleep. I come downstairs and DH informs me that he had to make his coffee and let the dog out while holding LO and that it took twice as long...um, file this statement under the "no shit" category...what does he think happens all day every day while I'm alone with her???? I told him to get used to it, because I'm back to work in a week and a half, and he'll be alone with the baby for 16 hrs the days that I'm at work! Don't worry ladies, he managed to figure out how to hold the baby and play xbox at the same time before I left for my hair appointment, because going a day without playing his video games would be a tragedy. Insert huge eye roll here.
Breastmilk is actually going to make her better if she does get sick, while feeding she will put the illness into your boob, your boob/body will make antibodies and give them to her as soon as they are made. (Really important to continue feeding at the boob if she does get sick and she will also get any antibodies your body has made from your illness right now.
@KUinCBUS does your husband work late? Why is he still asleep? I let DH sleep in a bit but he's up by 8. I'd send DD in to wake him up

We had our first legitimate projectile vomit (NOT spit-up) today, and I am horrified. I wonder if it is a different allergy. I guess I'll keep eliminating things until we figure it out.
I'm going out with friends for a drink for the first time in 10 months and I'm nervous. Hope she will be ok and take a bottle.
@bethas I am right there with you on the working Monday thing. Fuck fuckity fuck fuck indeed. It's going to be 55 degrees here tomorrow and then 22 on Monday when I go back to work.

You should reply with, "that's why we moms pack extra outfits, duh!"
