If you are going to give rude answers don't bother to respond I'm new at this and having my first child, isn't this supposed to be a place to ask whatever you want?

Bye Felicia.

People are jerks, ignore them. This is my first time too and I would has asked the same way you did. They are squabbling over words, whether it's the baby or water retention that's doing it, if your belly looks bigger, people think pregnancy.
And I have know people that very clearly look "pregnant" before 3 months.
The baby is tiny at this point but your uterus has doubled in size and your retaining water and likely not pooping much. If you have a smaller frame all of this isn't going to go unnoticed.
I am almost 7 weeks and very bloated and yes, it makes me look pregnant-ish without clothes. Pants don't fit, it's no fun. I ordered a Bella band from amazon so I don't have to buy bigger pants that are too big on my butt.

Try not to get offended just have fun with it women on these boards like to GIF. Trust me I know I was just part of April 14 well still am my lo is 8 months. The more you respond the more GIFS you will get. Do I look pregnant I feel like the bloat is defiantly starting to pooch out I've started consciously sucking in a bit around family that doesn't know so they don't ask and I have more and more been walking around with my top button of my pants undone : ). You enjoy your bloat bump your pregnant rock it.
Please op do not blame this on being a first time mom. A lot of women on here are first time moms and the rest were a first time mom at one point. I was a first time mom before and i never felt the need to assume that a baby the size of a blueberry would cause me to show.
You might be showing. Regardless of what people might say, everyone and every pregnancy is different. With my first I didn't show until about 16 weeks and now that I'm pregnant with my second I'm showing at 9 weeks.
Shame on the others who were rude to you. This is supposed to be a forum for mothers to be to ask questions without being judged.

I had to LOL when I went into the post thinking it was a joke and it wasn't!!
OP I get that you are new here but do yourself a favour and use the search button to read old posts before posting the same thing that was discussed yesterday.
Also, don't be offended... I actually think they have taken it pretty easy on you considering how many times this has come up.
Lurk a little and soon you will also be finding yourself getting peeved at others who post repeat topics.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was reading/posting into a thread with all fellow doctors. You CAN show at 9 weeks. Yes, a bump may be bloating but it could also be a baby bump, depending on the woman and the pregnancy. A pregnancy with multiples, the number of times the mother has been previously pregnant, and the mother's age (lack of muscle tone in the abdomen) are all scientific and REAL reasons why women may show earlier than typical.
I suggest that if anyone has real questions to ask her doctor. This is just a bunch of unhelpful people who think they know everything

The week by week on The Bump says you might start to show at 10 weeks, but you might be the only one who notices so I'm sure it's only a very slight amount. It probably varies person to person as some others already mentioned.
Okay, Christmas story about "showing"- we received maternity clothes from my wonderful in laws, and when we asked how they knew (we only had told them that morning) my FIL said he saw a picture of me on FB and could see my pregnant belly! Argh, that was NOT a pregnant belly. That was too many desserts at the Christmas party! Hubby was none too happy about that comment

I would have lost it. Full on lost it. I'm sorry that happened to you.
I'm going to sneak out on a limb and say that second pic is BS. I'm slender, petite, and only gained 18lbs with DS and was showing way more than that by 20 weeks. Seems like past about 15 weeks, how big you get has way too many factors into it (mostly regarding your stature and baby's size/position) to make a chart like that.
Past about 15 weeks. Before that, mostly bloat bump, obviously.
Edit: Mobile Bumping quote fail. Refer to above posted pic just below the "unnecessary pubes", haha.

This is super ballsy move. Giving maternity clothes when the couple hasn't confirmed or announced. Like super Ballsy move. I'm blown away by the fact that they not only made the assumption but then acted on it. I bet they're lovely people who just made s faux pas but they're very brave.
On a side note: why is it ok to ask someone or make them say they're pregnant if you suspect it? Can't you just wait for the person to tell you when they're ready? Why pressure them to say something early? You're not owed that information - no one has to share anything with you. Sorry, this is a sore spot for me. A friend of mine had someone demand she do a shot or admit she was pregnant. I was appalled but she didn't mind luckily and they tell it like this charming story. I'm really private so it really pisses me off when someone acts like I owe them personal information. Like, if someone is trying to hide something, why not just respect it? /rant
