Re: Can we drink?

  • The thing takes batteries but my SIL will make 100 hundred reasons why she can't afford batteries or new plug.

  • I don't know why they wouldn't, mop. They would have no use for the cord.

I'll call tomorrow. I also forgot to take the drum sticks. I ran out of the house unexpectedly.

  • DH tries to be helpful but I'm realizing how many of my clothes he put in drawers that should have been hung up. I was wondering why I didn't have anything to wear.

  • I should have eaten. I'm PWing and it's taking quite a bit to get this shit right.

  • Random question: Does Target sell stamps?

I think grocery and drug stores do @triplea598. Not sure about target.

  • The views some people have on adoption are so jaw dropping. Today I was asked how much money I'm going to get for the adoption. I'm not selling him. If I was it would be for a lot more than a DIA costs. I like to think I'm making a super cute squish.

@bookworm92, I'm sorry people ask you ignorant questions. I really admire your choice to place your child for adoption.

My SIL adopted 3 children (siblings) about a year and a half ago. The oldest is 8, and she asked at Thanksgiving, "Mommy, did you have to pay for us?" My SIL didn't know how to respond and just said, "No, sweetie, [the foster organization who they adopted through] didn't charge us. They do it because they love helping children find their forever families." Which is true, although I know SIL and BIL had a lot of legal fees and other things, but that's complicated to explain to an 8 YO.
