  I'm starting to understand my child. Rock to sleep when she STARTS to rub her eyes. I hope she goes down easy Saturday night. I can't believe I go back to work Sunday. Fastest 12 weeks of my life!!

  To start he new year off right I wanted to indoor rock climb with H. Closed. Play racquetball (were cool). Closed. Play outdoor tennis. Icy. So... We went to a new burger joint. So much for our healthy start. Whatevs. At least were trying new things? Lol

  My child is weird. She likes to fall asleep holding my hand. But I can't look at her. If I do, it's like she is a toddler who got into the sugar bowl and can't stay still.

  One of our local news stations posted an article on FB about a kid who chopped his mom's head off with an axe over chores.
  
  I was terrible at cleaning my room when I was younger so I posted the link on my mom's wall and said at least I didn't try to chop her head off. My dad chimed in with "you didn't do poop patrol either" my response was "yup and I also never tried to chop your head off either, you're welcome"

  My parents spontaneously offered to take DS this weekend, so we're kid-free until Saturday or Sunday. Woohoo!
  
  I have to work tomorrow, but today I painted DS' toddler bed, and I think tomorrow night DH and I are going on a date. It will probably be our last kid-free date in a long time since DS2 is due in 18 days.
  
  And tonight I think I'll take advantage of not having DS here and go to bed early. I also swept the house today because usually DS tries to "help" me, and it was a lot faster without him here. These are the wild and crazy things that happen when DS is with the grandparents.

  I have a Pilot and it's the best thing ever. It's big, but doesn't feel too big. Plus, I love that the 3rd row seats fold flat as opposed to having to pull them out. Such a great SUV!

  Have you tried Black Box wine? I used to turn my nose up at boxed wine til I tried their Merlot. And it's super cheap. 20 bucks for a box (4 bottles).
