  We took our Christmas stuff down. Yay! We decided today would be a good day to shampoo carpets. It smells Devine in here! I am loving the smell of cleaning products lately. I seriously can't get enough of my house smelling like chemicals. Lol

  @LaBellaVida‌ Good for you for getting christmas put away. I'm being weird and emotional about it this year but I'm too sad to take it down. I've never been big on decorating but this was our first year in our own house and it just looks so pretty!   One of the girls I used to work with had the first baby of the year in our county at 1:39am! So awesome!

  My husband took DS to gmas today so I could cough in peace. I also slept on and off and watched hgtv. Haven't veged out like that in a while and I feel a little better.

  Still cleaning up from 9 months of grime.  Totally neglected the house during this pregnancy.  DH and the kids have shown me much appreciation since I've been home.  I overheard DH on the phone w/ MIL saying that this was "her laziest pregnancy, but she's back and the house looks so much better."  When I talked to her later, she told me to kick his ass.  

  
  

  I'm still having trouble with names.  My favorites are: Amorette, Olive, Iris, Fia and Phoenix.

  Apparently it has to do with good luck?  Now I'm curious what they are and where.  It seems black eyed peas farther south and pork and sauerkraut farther north?

  Here in western PA it is pork and sauerkraut for good luck on New Year's Day.  Probably a PA Dutch thing.  We usually have it with mashed potatoes, green beans, and applesauce.  You smell it roasting all day, mmm!  I was really looking forward to it yesterday but then I couldn't even taste it because my nose is so stuffy.  But I did eat it.
