  Wow! I have never heard of a gym being closed New Years Day. I figured they would be packed with resolution makers. Kudos to your gym for giving their employees the day off.

  
  The gym is like a swanky resort with easily over 250 employees. I'm guessing it's probably very difficult for them to run it when so many employees are unavailable on major holidays. It's open now, I just don't feel like going in the afternoon. Not looking forward to a packed gym this month. I probably only have another 30 work outs to go before I should give it a rest and wait for the baby.

  Happy new year! And a halt birthday to @lotsofdotts‌.
  
  Today I had to try to explain to DH why I felt irrationally annoyed by not having more stuff specifically for LO. He didn't get it but has made a plan to take me baby shopping. We'll see how that goes /:)
  
  In other news, I find drinking water to be a pita now so I switched to ice chips. Chewing ice chips causes a lot of burping but is so much easier than drinking water all day.

  @ambz06060‌ My thoughts exactly! Friends on Netflix!! DH was counting down until it was, since we watch it every night just before bed and "it's a pain in the ass to get up and change DVDs if it's the last episode".
  
  @toamberroy‌ your poor finger! Glad you got it back and that the repairs won't be too bad.
  
  It's late, but today, I felt the urge to vacuum the cobwebs from the basement ceilings before we finish it all up and move the big girls downstairs. They probably won't even notice, but at least I know they are gone!

  Well, this year has been eventful so far. After helping me get DS to sleep, DH slipped while going down the stairs holding a mug of coffee and wearing/carrying his electric guitar and landed hard on his hip. The coffee spilled all over the walls, stairs, and DH, but the mug didn't break. Thankfully DH just has scrapes and probably some bruising and sore/stiff muscles (no late night ER trip needed). So instead of relaxing on the couch together, I got him cleaned up and into non-coffee-soaked clothes, and then got to scrub the walls and carpet on the stairs.
  
  We can laugh now that it seems he is ok, and if anyone was to fall on the stairs better him than me right now. If only we had video, because I'm sure it looked hilarious and maybe we could have gotten on Tosh.0 or America's Funniest home videos.
