Chinese gender charts, is it legit?

Hi all so I'm trying to have fun guess the gender of my baby by doing different things. The Chinese gendercchart is a pretty good thing but has it worked for anyone? Did anyone of you try it? If so was it correct?

    Totally correct for me both times - I give you a 50/50 chance at accuracy. But good news is it's either a boy or a girl!

    Of course it's not legit. The sex/gender (sorry, get confused which is the right one) is decided by the Dads little swimmers, so your date of birth wouldn't make a difference.

    Yep it was right for me las time! I am pretty sure it's fail proof. Go ahead and skip that anatomy scan. ;)

    It tells me boy every single time. I have a girl and 2 boys. No clue what this one is yet, but I kind of hope its a girl just so I can be further proof it's a 50/50 shot.

    It was right for me last time, wrong this time. 

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
    Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
    ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~

    I'll never know if it was right for me, because I conceived right around my birthday. So according to the chart, it's--either a boy or a girl. But yeah, it's not legit. It's total guesswork tied up in a mystical package.

    I re-read this thread and I'd say there was a lot of humour present. Do you define humour as agreeing with you? I don't think anyone was mean either or gave you a hard time, it really seemed to me that you were asking if the Chinese gender chart is legit and people gave you the answer: no. Perhaps you could present your question differently? It seems like you might know it's just for fun, so maybe don't ask as though you are trying to figure out if it is a legitimate way of determining the sex of your baby.
