NYE UO?

I've never started one and since I'm up at 5am ON MY DAY OFF, I figured, why not?

I assume people won't be around tomorrow...

    A radio host was talking about nye at Times Square yesterday and said that you cannot leave once you're in and you have to get there in the afternoon. You basically have to wear depends because businesses won't let you in to use the restroom and there aren't portopotties ( how feet that's really spelled). NYE is just not that big of a deal to me. I'm normally so worn out from the holidays that I can't put any effort towards another holiday.

    Our office has a Keurig. I have a reusable cup and fill it with whatever I want. Works for me.

    I'm not even a coffee snob! I just want my coffee to not be watery and not taste like plastic. Even if I put half of a small mug of water in there, the coffee is still weak and watery! I want to like the Keurig so bad, but we've had it for years and I've yet to have a good cup of coffee.

    I did the NYE Times Square thing when I was 18. It was awesome than. No way in hell I would do it again.

    BFF and I got to the gate around 6ish maybe and were the last ones let in that area. I don't remember what we did for bathrooms, but we took turns going to get hot chocolate that we spiked, so I'm guessing that's how?

    Some random boys bought us pizza, we were drunk. A good time was had by all.

    I like my keurig coffee haha. Like I legit prefer it over most things (not over my grandma's percolator. That thing is the shit). Now I feel like a bit of a heehaw.

    There's a local coffee shop here that is delish. Give me all the butternut donuts from there.

    I only like iced coffee, and love it from Dunky's. But I stopped drinking caffeine on the regular like 4 years ago, so not sure what my opinion is worth.
    I agree, their bagels suck and I don't love donuts in general. But egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, or croissant and an iced coffee from Dunky's is still my fast food of choice.

    Dunking donuts is like a Northern thing right? The DD here is always 90% visitors (I'm in the south). Over priced starbucks (like 2 times a year) for lyfe!

    Stopped at DD after my appointment (this is a coincidence, I was already planning to pick up donuts for the office). I'm eating a chocolate frosted cake donut which is delicious, and drinking coffee which doesn't really taste like anything.

    @unheardof‌ have you tried coconut milk creamer? I went dairy free for awhile and that's what I used

    I know! That's why I wish I liked it. I do green tea sometimes too. Not sure how much caffeine is in that though.
    Yeah I can do iced coffee. But just something about hot coffee. Nope. But- have you ladies tried pioneer woman's iced coffee?? Filled with tons of sugar but delicious!!

    I grew up in a city surrounded by river and we always took a boat downtown for NYE. I'm totally clutching pearls now thinking about all the drunk boaters that were probably out. I think @ShakeyJakey‌ is from my neck of the woods kind of?

    Being the sober DD is 1000% more fun than being the drunk person.  And there is the added bonus of not feeling like shit the next day.

    It's simply a habit I never picked up. 

    Mornings are simple: get up, shower, get dressed, get kids up, make/eat breakfast, pack everybody up and leave. 

    My parents didn't drink coffee either.
