Aside from baked goods, how can one take brewer's yeast powder to try and increase supply? I made lactation cookies with a lot of BY, but short of eating the entire batch, I won't get the recommended daily dosage.
Honestly I don't know. I've been eating it since the beginning so not sure what my supply is without it. All I know is that baby is full, happy and gaining. And the yeast is full of good microelements and vitamins, and as a probiotic it aids digestion, so it has benefits whether BFing or not so I keep eating it.
Heaping teaspoon of each BY and flax per bowl of oatmeal. See hom much you can tolerate as far as taste. According to a healthline article, a tablespoon is a good dose.
@KayteeGee same here, awful supply issues last time, so I proactively started supplements early this time.
Thank you! I seem to be in the same boat as you both; supply issues with prior child. I started fenugreek and blessed thistle right away now following with BY.
