Found out I was preggers about 2 weeks ago! Due on August 16th. I'm 28 and have 2 LOs. My son is almost 9 and my daughter is almost 1. Still in shock that we conceived so quickly this time around. It took us almost 3 years with our last LO.
I will be 24 in January, my husband is 33. This is my first and his fourth. We have already told the family and my close friends. We are too excited lol. We did lab work before I was pregnant showing extremely low levels of progesterone, and I was very worried I wasn't fertile. As soon as I got my BFP, DH did my blood work (we both work at a medical facility) and everything came back great. Great high progesterone, great iron, and rising HCG.

Hi Ladies, About to become a STM. Got my BFP in Christmas morning. I haven't been to the dr yet but EDD is approx Aug 26. My LO is currently 8.5 months old and he's awesome! I think he's a spirited little man! (I also had a miscarriage at 8 weeks a few years ago.) My husband and I live in the US Virgin Islands and have been here for 6 years. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA. We are both USCG Licensed Boat Captains and I also run a yearly magazine/fb page for a visitors guide. I am an A14 Bumpie, too. I pop in and out so you might not see me all that often. I might just give my 2 cents or ask a question here or there. My best advice - Don't tell anyone until you are ready for EVERYONE to know. Honest. Yes you are excited but if you can't keep the secret how can you expect your parents (etc) to!? Once people know, you will get way too much advice and that will be all anyone will talk about for the rest of your life! Congrats to you other Au15ers!

Info: I just turned 28 this month and have been with my boyfriend for a little over a year. Although this is a surprise and a bit out of order for us, we couldn't be happier! We found out on Dec. 22nd and then got to tell both of our families on Christmas which was actually pretty amazing! Like I said before, I'm very new to this, so I'm feeling pretty lost as to what I should or should not be feeling, what I should know, what I should or should not be doing...I have my first doctors appointment on 1/23, so I'll be 9 weeks, 4 days by then! I've seen so many posts with earlier ultrasounds and now I'm super jealous, because I read that I should wait until at least week 8 for my first appointment oh well! I just hope everything continues to go well until then!!

BFP was December 7 exactly two years and one month after our m/s.
EDD is August 11, just based on my last AF.
I'm 22 and have almost graduated with my bachelors in music composition! I quit my job in July because the stress was making me sick. We also thought that it might be keeping me from conceiving. So I launched my own business! I make baby things! And now I will get to make things for my own sweet babe if everything goes well this time.
My period has always been irregular so I waited because I was kind of in denial. We had just decided we were one and done for real. God's funny way saying we should have two. I am anxious bc I am 35 and all the things that come with that. FX ultra sound is Friday and everything is on track.
When you got your BFP? - Didn't test till AF was a week late even though I am a regular 28 day gal. We tried for three years, IUI's testing etc... were considering IVF and it did not even occur to me to test earlier. Surprise!!!

I'm 29 years old and my husband is 34. This is our first pregnancy, and we couldn't be more excited. The hardest part has been keeping this a secret...especially during the holidays and NYE around the corner. We've only told our parents, with little "I Grandma" onesies giftwrapped as xmas gifts.

I had to laugh at the fun conception stories comment because there were at least 9 people involved in the conception of this baby! I am a gestational surrogate for a couple friends of mine. I have been on IVF medications for several months and transferred a single embryo on 11/23. I have an ultrasound on Friday to see if this little snowflake has a heartbeat. I can't wait!
I'm 28 and this will be our 2nd baby. We have a DS called Hunter who is 9 months old. This baby was conceived on the night of our 4th wedding anniversary, and it was a total shock for us both!

It's been insane rollercoaster last two weeks with my doc thinking I was miscarry but saw heartbeat yesterday.
My daughter is 10. This was a surprise. My husband and I are both 40.

I've been hestitant to instrduce myself since this is my third pregnancy in six months (lost one at around 7 weeks and the other at 4.5). In any case, I have been playing the head in the sand game in hopes that I would miraculously wake up one day about to go into delivery avoiding any possible stress of miscarriage this time around. It was working so-so but then I get slow at work and, alas, my fingers unconsiously typed thebumb.com and I found myself knee deep in crazy town threads and craving waffled. It seems like between 6-10 weeks is prime time for battles on the bump. If anyone wants to check out some serious lunacy you should go back to the early days of the April 2015 board.
In anycase, it's good to be here. I hope I get to stay. Congrats to everyone.
