I just thought this was fascinating!

Someone posted the website howmanyofme.com in the orig thread and I had to check it out. Based on the census, it tells you how many people in the US have your FN/ LN combo.

My FN was top ten the year I was born, but both my maiden name and married name are obscure-ish European names. There are 3 people in the US with my FN/maiden name combo, but I am the only person in the US right now with my FN/ married name combo. Super interesting-- what about you all? Anyone want to share for fun?

593 people have my maiden name. Apparently 592 have my married name. Ha!

I am the only one in the US with my FN/Maiden combo, but one of 40 with my FN/Married combo.

My FN is statistically the 161st most popular, and only 66% female...maybe that's why I don't mind unisex names?

I'm one of 15 with my firstname maidenname combo, which actually seems a little high.

104 with my married name, which isn't surprising because my married name is a lot more common.

H is one of 135.

There are 10 with my fn/ln combo, and each of my boys have 1 or fewer fn/lns. We're not actually even in the US, so there might be none!

(I did do a FB search of their fn/lns before they were born, and there are a few in Northern Ireland though.)

I am the only one with my married name. DH with our married name is 1 of 2, and DD is the only one (we are all hyphenated).

Both of our names our more popular by themselves though, I would by one of 209 and DH would be one of 48 (still pretty rare considering his first name has been super popular forever). DD would be the only one with his last name, one of three with mine.

667 people had my FN/LN combo before I was married. There are 11 people with my FN/LN combo after being married.

When I looked at my daughters name, there is only one person in the US with her name.

There are 15 of me!!! I'm surprised there are that many. There are 410 of DH. 56 of DD#1, and 15 of what will be DD#2's name.

Edited to add: There are only 5 of my maiden name. I had a good thing going there...

I'm the only person with my FN and maiden name (no surprise there...my maiden name is very uncommon). And there are 143 people with my current FN and LN. I did DH's name and there are 1,234 people with the same one. There was actually a guy at the university he went to with the same FN, MN and last name. It's clearly a common name!
