I intro'ed a little while ago here: https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12479457/intro-loss-mentioned#latest

Today we have an update.  Baby girl is IUGR.  She did extremely well on her NST today, which was a relief.  But I am still so nervous. I cried a storm in my OB's office today as he was apologizing that he really wished he didn't have to give me bad news after all that has already happened to me.  I've heard many IUGR stories that have turned out well for the baby, but am looking to connect with any other mom that is going through this now.

DaisyBlinks Thank you so much for sharing your story.  It gives me a lot of hope!  So glad to hear your little boy is doing great :)
  • I know this thread is older but i had a little girl who suffered from IUGR. It wasn't diagnosed until birth at 36 weeks when i was induced for pre eclampsia. I had growth scans throughout my pregnancy and my lastscan i went in for they noticed very high blood pressure and protien in my urine, that paired with the headache and blurred vision i had and it was go time.

Itty bit was born at 3lbs 7ozs. I had a long labor and with a bunch of medical interventions but she was delivered vaginally. She had a short NICU stay of 9 days but everything else was perfect, breastfed like a pro but had problems remembering to breath while drinking bottles. She's now 4 months, going on 5, and she's in the 25th percentile for weight but her height and head circumference she's in less than the 5th percentile. She's doing great!

I hope you are doing well @ikrystal‌

  • lookame3639 Thank you so much for sharing your story.  I'm glad your little girl is doing well and that her NICU stay was short.  That gives me a lot of hope!  Right now, baby girl is rocking her NSTs but is still measuring small.  We are at 30 weeks right now. I'm hoping she comes out healthy and just petite.
