Many of us celebrated Christmas on Thursday. So, what did Santa bring you, your SO, your LO? Any gifts you gave that were a big hit? Any duds, items going into the White Elephant/Goodwill pile?
PIPs especially welcome on this post....
And...go!
Lil'mamaz was born on Aug 21, 2014! She's PERFECT!

'12 - Donor Egg/Donor Sperm IVF Cycle - 4 good embies! Dec. '12 - Fresh transfer, BFP! EDD 8/29/13 Mar. '13 - Missed m/c at 16w1d, baby boy stopped growing at 15w4d Loss due to umbilical cord clot...baby was perfect. Jul '13 - FET#1 - c/p Sept. '13 - FET#2 - BFN Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!! Dec' 26, 2013 - hb!! EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl! Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long. We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle
Santa was a big hit in our house this year. I have to say Christmas with kids to open presents is the best! My wife and I focused on the boys this year, I gave her a dinopet (bioluminescents) earlier this month and she gave me a trip to the day spa with Mani, Pedi, etc. I'm going on New Years Eve!!
Kaden & Owen got a wooden table & chair set from my parents. And lots of cute smaller gifts and books from family & Santa. For instance Kaden loves his red ex-large matchbox car and motorcycle - we could have stopped there. Owen loves his Sofie, soft blocks and wooden jingle bell.
The favorites were the new bike with training wheels, a large car parking structure for Kaden and a weird toy hippo with pop up balls for Owen. EV and I tend to stay away from noise making toys but this hippo toy is super cute and Owen laughed as Kaden chased the flying balls around the room.
Of course a black balloon I blew up yesterday and the wrapping paper were equally fun in the eyes of the kids.
We gave handmade glass terrariums. Their little balls and look amazing.
One of our favorite books is Six Dinner Sid.
Also a pic of Kaden and his bottle today. He and EV are sick, so he's getting "hot" tea and a smidge of honey in a bottle to soothe his throat. He doesn't drink from bottles since he was about 14-16 months old so it's a special treat.
.....and one of Owen who had me up from 1-4:40am which is why I'm Delirious!!! Lol
We got some good gifts this year! We don't do gifts for each other- this year we find out our Doula was had some unexpected financial issues and wasn't able to so Christmas for her 7 and 8 year old daughters... So we bought gifts for them that she could give them from Santa... We had so much fun picking them out!
@firstcomeslove2013 parents got us a stand mixer! They also got me the ultimate canning cook book... I can't wait to make some things out of it!
Well, J and I exchanged iPod Nano's. She also got me two new hats, and Nikki McClure's First 1000 days journal. I love it because it's just a 2-page spread per month, so I'm only 8 pages behind! I can catch up! I got her fancy coffee and a new scarf. MIL got me an uber-generous gift certificate to my favorite spa. I used to get a set of old navy pajamas. I guess now that I gave her a grandchild, I rank!
Simone got a lot of clothes and books. My Dad sent "Green Eggs and Ham" which is his favorite and a perfect gift, along w a build-a-bear gift card. MIL sent clothes, a new playmat and other odds and ends. We got her a fancy rag doll (and my sisters went in on the companion boy version) and books.

We bought B a little baby-sized chair and a teddy bear. He got lots of toys, books, and clothes, a piggy bank, and a convertible car seat from family members.
I think I mentioned the ring my wife gave me with B's birthstone - that was my favorite present. I also got new slippers, a baby k'tan, some kitchen stuff, and gift cards.
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31! EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14 *Everyone welcome*
i don't have a ton of pics on my phone, but Santa brought a couple of big hits - Ash really likes his table and chairs, his broom set, and a M&D pounding table.
Oh, and he really enjoyed this lovely box!
Santa was really good to me too. My favorite is my Le Creuset grill pan and a few other kitchen items. Oh, and one of those cushy kitchen mats! Yes, I'm old to be excited about that.
Only real duds were fleece Disney pj pants. Don't get me wrong. They look cozy and warm and I'm sure I'll use them on some frigid days. Just not my cup of tea.
William received a TON of stuff from family. From us/Santa he got books, PJs, some wooden cars and trucks, a few stacking toys and Scout. He LOVES Scout! His best gift (in my opinion) came from J's parents. They started a college savings account for him and put a sizable contribution in to get it started. I cried big ugly tears when we opened it.
J and I just exchanged stockings this year to save our dollars. I got baby proofing gadgets, a magazine, lip gloss and some other odds and ends. It was perfect for us for this year.
I was actually really spoiled by my sisters and my in-laws this year. To the point where I felt badly b/c they spent too much! My sisters got me a Kate Spade wallet and NorthFace tech gloves. My in-laws got me all kinds of things including winter boots, a NorthFace vest, a new watch, and a bunch of other things. I was overwhelmed.
So, it's a good thing that J and I saved our pennies on each other this year.... Friday night we were driving home from J's parents' house and J's car broke down on the side of the highway. With baby, dog and a boatload of Christmas presents (and other necessities like Will's high chair and RNP) in the car. AAA towed us and my in-laws picked us up and drive us home. Apparently there is an electrical issue (this is the 3rd time in 6 months we have had a major repair on this car, and it's only a 2010) ... Long story short, J might be getting a new car for Christmas ... There goes the house savings fund. Again.
Alas, we all had a great Christmas. So glad to hear all of you did as well!

Santa was good to us this year. We got a new humidifier, the same one my Mom has which is awesome. It's so dry here in the winter. We also both go Fitbits, which I'm very happy about. It's given me something else to obsess about right now instead of hating my body.
Our pup got a new toy which she ruined about 15 min later. Typical...

DS got so many presents! I don't even know where I'm going to put all of them! The biggest hit was his Home Depot work bench and tools. He LOVES them! Other than that he got a ton of cars and trucks and we got him blocks (wooden and mega blocks).
J got a sander that she's been dying to add to her tool collection lol.
J got me a ton of cosmetic products that I needed/ wanted to try and a bottle of wine. My parents got me a coach purse that I adore and a gift box from Omaha Steaks with an assortment of meats/ sides.
Big hits were hibby grade remote controlled helicopters, headphones, and Garmin Vivofit (fitness trackers.) C asked for a bunch of WWE stuff, but hasn't been really played with it.
L and I exchanged Fitbits - which is just proving that I don't move at all at work. :P We also got each other a bunch of yoga stuff in an attempt to do yoga more often.
It was a really nice Christmas. The kids had fun, it was a nice balance of playing and resting, the kids still deeply believe in Santa, and we even went to a movie that afternoon!
