it's 4pm, and Lyra is still napping. Should I wake her up?

Depends when she went to sleep. If it was K and he went down at 2, yes, wake up. If closer to 3, nope, let him sleep maybe another half hour.

I only wake them up if we have to go somewhere. Otherwise I'd just delay bedtime a bit if needed.

Depends on bedtime and if you are flexible. The last time Allison napped that late we were up until 10p but she did sleep until 8a!

I do as well. I woke DD yesterday and today because I want her to go to bed on time. She was fine.

During regular work weeks, we're up pretty early so she takes a really early nap. Sometimes she falls asleep on the way home in the car and i've let her sleep way past 5. Her normal bedtime is 8.

Open the door and make some more noise - but let her wake up on her own.

This is usually what I try to do.

This... James doesn't sleep past 3
or he will be up late. Today is a special occasion because bedtime is going to be late. He went down at 12:15 and is still sleeping...
